喜欢: At the Wuthering Heights they give a warm welcome but keep it simple in the comforting Northern way. Perfectly off the radar, the Shepherd’s Hut was complete with wood burner, lovely double bed and the essential kitchen ware you might need. Separate facilities included a shared kitchen, shower and toilets which are all pub adjacent where you can join in with the weekly quiz, borrow a book or get a hot meal. The hut is so thoughtfully put together and very functional while being cosy on an unexpected stormy summers night and delightful on a fresh morning. In bed with a book overlooking the valley was an absolute highlight and the proximity to the moors is almost priceless. Thank you. See you soon.

喜欢: We were in desperate need of some peace and quiet and we got it such a tranquil place the shepards hut was so comfy the bed was amazing, food in the pub very reasonable and soo tasty this was our 1st visit but will definitely not be our last

喜欢: Great setup with lovely views. Hosts were kind and helpful, hut was set up with firewood, breakfast and tea and coffee. All the facilities and the hut were really clean and tidy. We really enjoyed our stay- didn't want to leave!

喜欢: We had a lovely 4-night stay in one of the shepherd's huts (Charlotte). The hut had everything we could possibly need (crockery, thermos flask, hot water bottle, as well as a loaf of bread, tea/coffee and some milk) and was really cosy and comfortable. The shower was also amazing. We really enjoyed eating at the pub (which has a great selection of gluten free and vegan options) and especially joining for the pub quiz on Thursday night. The view from the hut is amazing and feels really peaceful. We were very lucky with the weather but there is a log-burner which was all set up in case we had wanted to use it. Great walks nearby and loads to do that is accessible by bus (we were holidaying by public transport). We would highly recommend staying at the Wuthering Heights Inn, and definitely plan to return!

不喜欢: This didn't affect us but it is worth bearing in mind when booking that the huts are down a couple flights of stairs, and toilets/showers are back up the stairs, so this would be something to consider for anyone with limited mobility.

喜欢: Loved everything. We booked in for lunch in the pub before booking in time. They told us that our shepherd hut was ready early and to just let them know when we were ready. The food was delicious 😋 highly recommend the scampi.
Great facilities (lovely hot shower, 2 toilets,a fridge with a fresh bottle of milk, some butter and marmalade. A microwave,sink, toaster and kettle. Even a hairdryer and place to charge your phone).
Everything was very clean and well maintained.
Charlotte (our shepherd hut) was lovely. Just perfect for our weekend getaway. The sheep and lambs in the field opposite were a very nice sound to wake up to 😁. Solar lights at night that are on sensors so you can't lose your way.
Great little stove with fire lighters,coal, kindling and logs supplied. Made to feel very welcome by everyone. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway (without the kids)

喜欢: This was a return visit for us and we stayed in 'Charlotte'. Nicci and Darren were very helpful with some last minute amendments to our booking. The view from the huts is beautiful and the only noises were the newborn lambs and moorland birds.
The huts are fitted out to a very high standard with lots of attention to detail. Clever use of 'drawers' under the bed together with 2 bedside cupboards means there was enough storage space. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of bedding. There was a selection of tea, coffee, biscuits etc provided together with 2 plates, bowls, mugs and glasses plus cutlery and a corkscrew.
A sliced loaf and jar of cereal was also supplied in the hut. The multi-fuel stove is fantastically efficient and generates more than enough heat (wood, coal & kindling is all provided).
The utility room was well equipped (kettle, microwave, fridge, double toaster, hair dryer, straighteners, shower mats & teatowels plus a drying rack) and had spare plugs for phone charging. There were also some butter portions and individual marmalade pots in the fridge.
For campers/glampers, there was a dedicated toilet plus a shower room (which also has a toilet). The shower was very good with plenty of hot water.
Given the very wet weather, we found the hut, utility room, shower & toilets very clean. Warm radiators in the communal areas were also very welcome.
We had a tasty lunch in the pub & the Friday 'fish deal' is good quality & excellent value!
Easy to walk to Top Withens directly from the pub and a few minutes drive gets you to Haworth where there is a well stocked Co-op along with all of the other attractions.
There is a substantial flight of steps down to access the huts and campsite which are well lit by motion activated lights when dark.
Wifi is provided outside the pub but the signal did not reach down to the huts. Limited mobile signal in the huts but enjoy the peace & quiet!
