喜欢: Big, fully serviced pitches overlooking the lake. How quiet and tranquil the park was despite being a bank Holiday. How easy it was to catch a fish on my first time fishing in their well stocked lakes, AJ's bar! The very friendly and welcoming owners who have not long took it over. And last but not least the wonderful dawn who was run off her feet all weekend but nothing was too much trouble and she always had a smile and was willing to help with anything!

喜欢: This site is very peacefull and somewhere you can chill out and the husband can fish.
Great staff especially Dawn and Col who run around like headless chickens to be able to make everything just perfect also providing everyone with great snacks and meals and serving you with whatever tipple you prefer they both work very hard and are fabulous people .

不喜欢: I think the price is reasonable if the fishing was included in the price for people staying or at least half price like most sites do .
I also hope now that there are statics going on this site that they do not spoil it by getting to big as it's perfect just as it is .
This is advertised as adult only but permanent residents a lodge owners are allowed kids .this means it's not adult only . Toilets need cleaning more often and plenty of toilet rolls required as there was none on many occasions also disabled toilet lock broken

We are reviewing the fishing prices.
Currently there are no plans for any more statics.
Children are only allowed to visit family of seasonal pitches holders & lodges for 1 night & they must stay within the boundaries for the pitch.
At the time of your stay we were short staffed due to multiple staff illnesses, we can only apologise that this had an impact on the usual impeccable cleanliness of our toilets. this issues has now been resolved & we are back to being fully staffed. We have also fixed the toilet door lock.
As always we can't wait to see you again, many thanks :)

不喜欢: Bed was too small for my husband, tv signal poor. But wouldn’t put us off returning

喜欢: Massive pitch, friendly Manager and keeper, great and reasonably priced food, good price for a fully serviced pitch, grounds lovely.

不喜欢: Geese although lovely very noisy, wooden hut shower blocks need updated, more key fobs needed for the gates.

The geese are being dealt with slowly & in accordance with the law, the wooden toilet block has now been painted, new shower curtains installed & kick boards too. The gate also has more fobs too :)

喜欢: Quiet location
Spacious pitches with everything located on them
The owner was accommodating to our need to leave early to return the fob.

不喜欢: Not off of the catches on the toilet doors worked and the door had been broken to retain them.

Nothing else was an issue

不喜欢: Shower curtain, gravel quite large for motor homes and camper vans

喜欢: Area, nice and peaceful, really well stocked fishing lakes, really friendly staff and people who live there full time, gated campsite, fishing supplies, price of fishing, clean toilet / shower blocks.

喜欢: Quiet, peaceful site with good security and access. Nature reserves around the area good for walks.

不喜欢: No lighting across site, on a fully serviced pitch “grey water drainage” was too far from the caravan to link to.
