- As the electric hook-ups are run from a renewable energy source, the hours of usage are limited through the night and power is not available from 11.30pm to 6.30am.

喜欢: It is a very nice place in the middle of nowhere. The owners have designed perfectly. Ideal for summer months when it's warm.
The toilets and showers were spotless.
The site is very well maintained
不喜欢: The showers are in individual sheds with a gap at the top. To cold to shower in them.

喜欢: This is easily one of the nicest campsites we’ve ever stayed at. The facilities were really clean and well-maintained, including the toilets and shared areas. The on-site bar was really nice, offering a cozy atmosphere with well-lit seating and reasonably priced drinks. Overall, the campsite had a warm and welcoming vibe that made our stay truly enjoyable.

喜欢: Location was convenient for coastal walks
不喜欢: Very little effort was put into running the site, self check in meant there was no contact at all with the owner/employees. The pitch next to ours had a car, caravan and campervan with multiple children and dogs. Dogs were often off leads running about, the toilets and showers were very basic and draughty.

喜欢: Nice large level pitch for Motorhome. Bar area on site. Good location for Alnwick
Water very hot in showers.
不喜欢: Showers cubicles were a bit small. Need more room to get changed away from the shower tray. Felt a bit unsafe.
Power goes off overnight. Understand the off grid element which is commendable but it didn’t come back on again in the morning of the day we left.

喜欢: Very straightforward self-check-in. Site was lovely and clean and the facilities were well-maintained. The campervan pitches were level and well spaced, so despite it being a sunny bank holiday weekend, it didn't feel crowded or noisy - in fact, it was very quiet because everyone respected the quiet hours. I only stayed one night, but will be back!
