喜欢: Really nice quiet chilled out location, ideal for anyone who wants a chilled get away. Enjoyed our night here. Dog friendly too which is good.

不喜欢: Not really anything to dislike apart from the closest shop is about a 12 minute drive away so just make sure you’ve got what you need before you get there, apart from that it’s a lovely place.

喜欢: Wide open views and lots of space. We picked this site for the fact it had fire pits and wood available (on request) and allowed BBQs. Flat ground with well maintained grass. A nice walk beside the river. It was beautiful being in the countryside, watching hares scampering about in the next door field on one of the mornings - what a delight!

不喜欢: I thought I was going to dislike the toilet facilities because it was a busy Bank Holiday, but in fact there was never a queue and the toilet block was kept clean. Nothing to dislike.

喜欢: Location was excellent. On a clear night it would be brilliant for star gazing. Great walks. Lovely being next to the River Ouse.
I would stay again due to the location to York.

不喜欢: Toilets/showers weren't very clean and not really big enough for the site. Didn't see any staff.

toilet just ok didn't use shower so cannot comment

Lovely grassy field

不喜欢: no one to check you in and give pitch advise consequently we came back from a day out and tent was pitched 8 feet from us. We then moved further up the field to put a little distance between us . Went out next day and another tent with van was squeezed in between us about 6ft away. I'm sure that there is a minimum distance between units as law to prevent the spread of fire. A long way for water and waste. Very expensive for what you got. Need a car unless you are a walker

喜欢: The site was very quiet when we went as it was at the end of the season. It's ideally situated for visiting York and surrounding area.
A taxi ride into town was £20 which meant we could leave the van parked up rather than trying to find parking near the city centre.
Showers were hot and they weren't the push botton type which makes a nice change. Washing up facilities were clean and well lite at night.
Over all a great place to stay and excellent value for money

喜欢: Nice quiet site in the countryside. Suited us with its location. Brilliant for stargazing. Toilets and showers were clean enough. Nice play area for children.

不喜欢: As convenient as the self check in was, the site was not well sign posted to find a pitch. Customer service given 1 star as we didn’t meet anyone!
