The Alders Caravan Park

喜欢: We really enjoyed our recent stay at The Alders Caravan Park. We stayed in one of the smaller pods as a family of three and found the space absolutely fine. The pod was lovely and clean, with a small lamp and heater (there are two plugs inside the pod). The area where the pod was located was peaceful and well-situated, offering privacy with surrounding trees. Each pod has its own picnic table, and parking is just a few steps away—which I appreciated, as it added a level of safety for my daughter to play without worrying about vehicles.

The staff and owners of the park were very helpful and welcoming.
The facilities were some of the best I've seen. I especially liked the privacy of the family bathrooms, which were always clean.

My daughter loved the drive into the park with the calves and cows, this made the start of stay extra special/exciting for her.

The stay was a small drive into York or to a park and ride. Location wise and price you really couldn't complain!

不喜欢: The facilities were a walk away from the pods, I was aware of this before booking and wasn't anything I wasn't expecting.. but if I had to comment on anything it would be closer toilets for the night time toilet trips with child.

喜欢: Fantastic location with large pitches, friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent facilities. Bus stop 5 min walk away to get into the centre of York.

喜欢: Very nice place plenty of space clean and quiet good facilities staff really friendly loved the cricket club for a few pints well priced and the little cafe food really nice and fresh !!

喜欢: The pod was really clean, as was the whole site. It was very peaceful with lots of wildlife and perfect for a relaxing break. Lots of space between each pod.
The little heater in the pod was useful for chilly mornings. Nice hot showers in a spotless toilet block.
I would definitely recommend a stay here.

喜欢: Very welcoming on check in Lovely place, nice large quiet pitch, toilet blocks very clean, cafe at reception which we didn’t go in but was always busy when we passed. There was a bus stop near the bluebell pub which took us into York. The cricket club on site was a nice place to have a few beers, we’d definitely go back.

不喜欢: Wi-Fi wasn’t that good
