喜欢: I took my little boy for the first time camping and I couldn't wish for a better sight we got there and was welcomed showed me where to picture and tell me where the toilets was and fresh water absolutely lovely lady she made us feel so welcome and even walked around in the morning asking if everybody was okay another good night's sleep nice campsite fresh water clean toilets what else could you ask for and my little boy loved his first trip

喜欢: Fox Covert is a great site if you want to be near York, which was only a 20-minute drive away.

The owner was lovely. She gave me some flyers when we arrived, which gave us lots of ideas on what to do. And there is so much to do! Unfortunately, we didn't stay long enough to see everything we wanted to see. She also came to check if everything was all right.

The shower and toilet were clean, and we had more than enough space to pitch our tent and for the kids to run around. There were also horses in the field next to the site.

The site is dog-friendly, and there is a great dog kennel only a 10-minute drive away that does day boarding if you want to explore and can't take the dog with you.

不喜欢: The campsite is next to a busy road and there is a RAF site nearby. We didn't mind, but if you want a quiet site, Fox Covert may not be for you as there are cars and motorcycles driving past all day and possibly some low-flying military planes.

We didn't get a lot of cell service, which made it difficult to use our phone navigation until we got closer to York and find information on touristy things.

喜欢: The tranquility!
The peace and quiet, the host was amazing so friendly and caring, she came by each day some times more than once to make sure we were ok! The fox covert is basic but it’s what you want when you are camping! Back to basics!

不喜欢: Would like to have known I needed to take toilet roll! But apart from that nothing it was great!

喜欢: We loved it here! Boys had the best time. Owner comes and checks your okay everyday. Shop not even 5 min drive away. My boys went fishing at pond next to site, would definitely stay again

喜欢: Has an amazing time, great ground for pitching tent, basic facilities but it’s all we wanted, loaned a fire pit too which was great, would definitely return, owner was lovely too!

喜欢: I wanted a peaceful getaway, that’s was exactly what I got went for 3 nights loved it. Facilities were basic but very usable, val who owns it is lovely really nice and helpful always walks around keeping a check on everything and making sure everyone is ok . I would definitely stay again..
