Orcaber Caravan and Camping Site

喜欢: Very clean sites big pitches although it was very busy the toilets very very clean. Lovely views all round. Nice little river for the kids to play in not far from site.

不喜欢: A big wait for food but a new computer system was blamed so it was understandable

喜欢: Very clean and tidy site. The staff were very friendly.
Although it was fairly busy we had plenty of room, we weren’t hemmed in.

喜欢: Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Well maintained camping area and great location for walking. The fire pits are free to hire (just pay for logs). Toilet and shower blocks were very good and cleaned regularly. Bacon butties 10/10 on a Sunday morning

喜欢: First time back camping after a few years break and could not fault the place.
Everything you need is there, good shower facilities, shop, pizzas on a Saturday night and fire pits with everything you need can be hired. The staff there are really friendly and the location is beautiful.
Definitely would love to go back

喜欢: Plenty of room and was able to choose where to set up. Although it was relatively busy, there was still lots of room for everyone to space out and didn’t feel like you were jammed in like sardines. On site shop which stocks various food, drink and camping equipment. The toilet/shower facilities are immaculate, they were always kept clean and tidy, and plenty of them. There was never a queue for either the toilet or shower. Dog friendly with a dedicated exercise area where you can let the dogs off for a leg stretch (dogs to be kept on leads outside of the exercise area). They also come around offering out fire pits for you to use free of charge, they also supply wood, kindling, firelighters, lighters etc but obviously at a cost, which was reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and helpful. They also have plenty of picnic tables scattered around the site which you can use. The scenery from all directions is amazing. Definitely not a bad view wherever you are on site.

不喜欢: The lane up to the site is mainly only suitable for one car at a time although there are a few passing spots in case you come across a car coming in the opposite direction. Not so much a ‘dislike’ but would be great if the shop could be kept open longer, as closes at 9pm. It just means you need to make sure you grab anything you may want before 9, as the closed shop is around a 10/15 minute drive away.

喜欢: We liked everything about this Campsite! It was in a lovely location, the Campsite people were very friendly and helpful, the facilities were excellent, good shop and very clean toilets and showers, one of our best places we have stayed at. Will definitely be going back. Must also give a "shout out" for the 2 resident Bull Dogs, Gary and Enid, they are fabulous!

喜欢: Very clean, lovely site, fab facilities

不喜欢: The football pitch spoilt it a little, especially as it was so busy, pitches could have spread out more on the cramped tent area. Also balls and frizbies hitting vehicles. Next time we would pay for electric to be further away from play area.

喜欢: We had an absolutely fantastic time.
The showers where amazing. The ground was nice and level and even though the pitches are marked and you can go where you like people gave us enough space to it was not cramped. The walks around the area are lovely. The field for the dogs to be off lead was brilliant as dogs must remain on lead on the farm. The shop on site had everything you might need including toys for the kids. The farmer cam round and offered a fire pit and a huge bad of logs for only £8.
Everything was sign posted on the walks to the river. Though beautiful green fields with sheep and cows. My daughter was over the moon to get so close. I thought people's music was going to be an issue but everyone was quiet by 11pm so that wasn't an issue. The facilities where very clean and plenty. There is even some where to wash your dog if they got money. They thought of everything
