Spring Willows Caravan Park

喜欢 The staff are all very friendly, toilets are kept clean, plenty to do with walks, small park and swimming pool
Bar and restaurant are worth a visit, good portion sizes for the price.
Fish and chip shop in walking distance and another pub short drive up the road.

不喜欢 Our pitch had big ditch in it meaning we had to set up our tent differently meaning our opening was right on the dirt road running next to the pitches, toilets could do with a mop left in as the its showers and toilets in one

喜欢 Great caravan site in a lovely location. Fantastic views and a cracking dog walk area.

不喜欢 The pitches are not level and we found it impossible to level the caravan (be prepared with lots of chocks and levelling blocks)

喜欢 Great location.
Made to feel very welcome by the lady on reception who gave us plenty of info for our stay. Then someone escorted us to our pitch.
Facilities are ok. Kettle and microwave with couple of wash sinks which are cleaned twice daily.
Toilets are clean majority of the time but not enough of them.
Popped in the bar for few drinks over the 2 days we spent there. Reasonably priced and quite good facilities with a play park just outside and games room.
We decided to walk to the Foxhound pub in the next village over. Great pub with really nice meals.
Plenty of pitch space but the whole site is on a slope and the ground is extremely hard. Make sure u have hard ground pegs.
Never used the pool but was advised how to book and opening times etc.

不喜欢 Toilets consist of 4 toilet and shower rooms with 4 portaloos. Near enough a constant queue to use these as everyone rightly would rather use a proper flushing toilet.
Ground is very hard and sloped

喜欢 Great size pitch , plenty of room, although they are on a slope! Close to nearby attractions. Great dog walking area, close to woodlands.

不喜欢 Play area was a little tiered looking, pool area quite slippy.

喜欢 We loved our time here. Its a fairly basic site it does have pool sauna etc but we didnt make use of the facilities but 3 tents around us did and said it was perfect and warm! I had read the reviews and I was worried the incline but actually no problem at all . The shower facilities were absolutely fine and cleaned regularly throughout the day. Washing machine and drier onsite too. A clean washing up area . We had the best time and the people camping at the same time were lovely. All kids played together until dark and then all settled . Lovely and quiet. Close to Scarborough and filey and playdale farm. Shell garage a very short walk . Lovely views from across the site.

喜欢 Steam Room and Hot Tub was a nice touch, bar looked nice and friendly (although never actually spent time in there).

不喜欢 Poor service on arrival, staff had no access to my booking or computer system and no idea what pitch I was supposed to be on (was told this was due to family emergency, which is understandable). Team on site said they'd bring a welcome pack after we were eventually sited, this never happened and I had to walk down to retrieve myself. Bar was closed for the first two days of our stay, then on day 2 the pool and sauna etc was closed too, due to a private function. Gym advertised and was a main reason for us choosing this site due to our son's national training commitments, this is not a gym! It's a cupboard with poor outdated equipment. Toilet/shower block has clearly been broken in to as all doors are damaged, warped and secured with a bolt from the inside but the door is never fully sealed and gaps allow visibility to other users. Toilets and showers were not cleaned regularly and we're not done at all for the first 48 hours of our arrival. Pitches are very uneven and on steep slopes, making it difficult to level your caravan fully.

喜欢 Friendly staff.felt safe on site as there is a key code for the gates to get inn and out.nice walk around site.

不喜欢 Bar and food close on day and night when we were there and also swimming pool close . toilets and shower not good.

喜欢 Friendliness of staff who were super helpful and made us feel welcome - as did the campers in the statics.

The pool and hot tub were delightful!

Playing bingo and the stand up sit down game - such a giggle.

Situated in a great area with plenty to do or see.

We will definitely return.

不喜欢 Leftover rubbish on pitch including lots of tab ends - gross.

喜欢 Lots of space and the amenities were good. Good location. Friendly staff.

不喜欢 Amenities could do with a bit of maintenance as showing signs of general wear. Missing gliders, rust, holes, sealant hanging off etc. Swimming pool changing area lots of mould on ceiling.
