喜欢: Tidy, well kept site. Beautiful setting/ views. Toilet and shower block clean and functional, showers hot. Pub on site, decent food, reasonably priced. Scott was friendly and welcoming.

不喜欢: Wifi wasn’t great. No park or activities for kids but we knew that on booking.

喜欢: Lovely little campsite. We were greeted on arrival by the owner who showed us to our pitch giving us an option of the sunny side or the shady side as we had dogs.

The site is small but had everything we needed. The pub onsite was ideal after a long day of walking and exploring the Yorkshire Dales. The food was lovely.

I was worried with only two showers in the ladies block that we would struggle to get a shower on the Saturday as it was bank holiday weekend and most pitches were full, but it wasn’t a problem. We stayed 4 nights and I only waited two minutes at most for a shower. Most mornings I walked straight in no waiting.

Toilet block was clean and facilities fine.

We would be happy to return.

喜欢: The scenery and rural location, Masham Village.

不喜欢: The toilet shower block was in need of updating, we stayed for 3 nights 4 days and the camp site was completely full with approx 50 caravan/camper motor homes with 2 showers in male and female toilets and these were not cleaned over the 4 days.
The owner seemed to care more for seasonal pitch users and looking after them showing disinterest in weekend tourers, he was very rude to other groups of tourers and was very arrogant.
There is a pub on site which again was poorly managed for paying customers unless you were part of the locals (seasonal pitch users) whom got reserved tables although they invaded the outdoor area.
Overall this was a poorly run site and we will not visit again any time soon.

喜欢: Lovely little site .me and my wife stayed for 3 nights .pub at bottom verry nice food .I would recommend the ale pie verry nice .

喜欢: In the midst of lovely rolling countryside. Behind a pleasant pub serving food. Nice walk to Masham and to the interesting folly of Druids Temple.

不喜欢: Only two showers and three toilets in gents toilet block. Maybe a couple more would help when campsite full, as it was on VE Day weekend.

喜欢: It was handy having the pub there for a drink or a meal.

不喜欢: Owner was not very friendly. Little information when I checked in. Lots of weeds growing on and around my pitch. I didn’t see anyone clean the toilet and shower area while I was there. It was a 2.5 mile walk to get anywhere if you didn’t want to use transport (Masham), with no pavements and quite a fast road. No wifi at all, not even in the pub.

不喜欢: Female toilet and shower blocks not clean and toilets themselves were very small.

Came in a hire motor home; left the site after first night to go out for the day, came back about 5pm that evening and our pitch had been taken. Spoke to owner who said “well you didn’t leave anything to say it was yours” - we were in a hire motor home and had nothing to leave as wouldn’t risk leaving electric wire out as it wasn’t ours. No offer from owner for anything to leave. He also didn’t show us a new plot or ask us if we wanted the original plot, just said to us “find an empty plot and just use that” - there was literally one left and no apology at all. I thought when you reserve a pitch, that’s yours for the time your there? Not having to pitch hop! 3rd night also ended up on a different plot aswell due someone else being given our second plot.
