喜欢: Gorgeous site. Around 40 pitches so nice and quiet. We stayed in the Showman’s Retreat, comfortable beds. Jen was lovely and welcoming, offered local recommendations which were great. Dog friendly site. Recycling facilities are great. Clean bathrooms. Friendly animals on site. Kitchen facilities are great. Being able to hire a BBQ & fire pit saves lots of space in the car. Hot water bottles were a lovely touch. Thank you for a beautiful stay! We will be returning next year.

不喜欢: My daughter said the only thing that could make the stay even better would be if there was a climbing frame / some swings.

喜欢: Très charmant camping au calme en retrait de la ville. Les sanitaires sont propres et bien entretenus et bien chauffé avec une petite musique d'ambiance.

不喜欢: Attention à l'accès très étroit où deux véhicules ne peuvent pas se croiser sur plusieurs centaines de mètres.
Il y a pas de wifi à ma connaissance.

喜欢: Well organised with great facilities. The owners were very helpful with suggestions for local walks and local places to eat. Really enjoyed my stay.

喜欢: Loved the goats!
Toilets and showers always clean, had radio on 24/7 which was was a nice touch.
Had fridge, freezer washing up area which was very handy.
Big pitches lots of space and close to shops at the end of the road.
Close to the town centre which you could walk to but easy enough to drive and park up.

喜欢: Level(ish) pitch with water. Good, clean toilets and showers. Our non-electric pitch was open without trees near it which is good for solar! Quiet as site is surrounded by fields.

Friendly owners, there were eggs available to buy. Equipment for barbeques as well as information about local area.

As others have noted it's about 10 minute walk to Morrisons (McDonald's, B&M and Halfords as well). A longer 45 minute walk into town along or you can get a bus from near Morrisons.

Easy (signed) access from main road, the last bit into farm is single track but shouldn't be a problem for even the largest unit.
