喜欢 Quiet rural location with mainly bird song as background noise with some occasional car somewhere in the vicinity.
The views over the gently rolling fields are just what is needed to switch the brain noise off. We loved the donkeys and their 5 star meadow.
The camping field was vast do plenty of space for kids to be kids. The host Sadie was very welcoming and spent some tine chatting to us and genuinely wanting to make us feel welcomed. She kindly brought us sone tea bags as I completely forgot.
Another big think for us was how that we were not told off for having a well behaved dog off lead. We arrived by bikes and my husband forgot to pack her ground stake long lead. She kept to where we were and did not go to anyone.
2 posh cabin portaloos separate M/L with shower and changing area and separate toilet. Shower were as hot as you preferred and free if charge.

不喜欢 Not a dislike as such, but a washing up area, even basic one would be good.

喜欢 Large field with plenty of space to choose a pitch. Welcoming hosts and facilities are very clean. Lovely quiet area.

喜欢 Quite location. Friendly host and obviously Basil the baby donkey!

喜欢 Had the place all to ourselves on our midweek break. Is a lovely spot well worth a visit. Toilets and showers perfect very friendly hosts. Thanks for having us 👍

不喜欢 Didn’t stay long enough

喜欢 Perfect peaceful campsite. Just what we wanted.

喜欢 Beautiful peaceful location, with immaculate pitch and friendly & welcoming staff.

喜欢 Loved the space. The field is huge, flat and surrounded by beautiful countryside. The toilets and showers were great for the numbers on the site. It was a very peaceful site. Perfect in many ways for those who love a rural retreat.

不喜欢 No dislikes as such. Our experience is the field doesn’t have a lot of shelter if the wind is up. This could definitely impact the quality of sleep for some. Also there is only one Gents toilet and shower and the same for ladies so if the field fills with campers there maybe a significant wait.

喜欢 Great little campsite, very clean toilets and lovely views over the countryside. Able to pitch up where we liked and lots of space for the children and dog to play.

不喜欢 Not a dislike but could have been clearer where to get water, maybe a sign saying the taps were safe for drinking water in the loos.

喜欢 First up… selected as ‘travelling as middle aged couple’ because that was the closest fit… we’re 38/39… that’s too old to be ‘young couple’ - and we were lucky enough to leave our kids (18&14) behind!

Ok…

Incredibly flat, well kept grass, sooo much space (100m between us and our neighbours), very rural (stayed by the road side, probably 2 cars an hour pass by), no advertised check out time (so we took our time and left around midday) - very peaceful site!

不喜欢 Dislike is a stretch, but ‘to be aware of’ is probably a friendlier way of putting it…

Could do with a washing up area. Toilets and shower portacabin new and in good order - but there’s only one - 1 men’s and 1 women’s toilet/shower - it wasn’t busy on site, but still some queuing, obviously you work around that… but just fyi if you really hate to queue (don’t have an alternative toilet) this may put you off slightly. Also, portacabin could do with a step up to it… But really, this is nitpicking!
