喜欢 The pitch size and having our own water tap. The location, near to the river for a walk along the beach.
不喜欢 The compostable toilets, not because they are a bad idea, quite the opposite, but some people used them incorrectly and so they became dirty.

喜欢 Great woodland campsite where you feel like it’s just you there! Having a drinking water tap at the pitch was so handy, as well as a fire pit and grill for cooking on. Toilet and shower facilities were clean. Great location for a walk along the river beach, whilst the trees shelter you from the wind. This was our second time here and we will definitely be coming back!

喜欢 Netherhall Farm campsite is beautiful and peaceful, with the added bonus of private pitches tucked away in the forest. The facilities are excellent and very clean, and firewood is readily available. There’s a lovely walk along the river, and nearby Pin Mill is worth a visit. The campsite is also conveniently located for day trips to Colchester and Ipswich.

喜欢 Nice (mostly) quiet camping in amongst trees. Composting toilets work well. The gas powered shower is really good.
不喜欢 Some folks ignoring the curfew.
The pitches could have been smoother.

喜欢 Everything! We have been coming here every year for a while now. Beautiful surroundings, nice and quiet. Perfect for a relaxing break with the kids, who also love it here. We especially enjoyed Matilda's cake shack in the village! Hopefully the pub will be open again for our next visit. Really friendly and helpful owners too!
