With stunning views over mixed countryside in the pretty county of Worcestershire, Mill House is home to a range of well-maintained pitches and some good amenities, including a toilet block, showers and a handy washing-up area for your pots and pans. Its location also helps it to stand out, as the site is between the scenic River Severn and the Droitwich Canal, a quick 10-minute drive from the centre of historic Worcester and next to an attractive marina. Mill House is a chilled-out kind of place – one where you're welcome to bring dogs along to join the family break and barbecues are permitted for some alfresco eats. Supermarkets, butchers and other amenities are just a short drive down the A449, making it simple to source provisions for your stay. There’s also a local bus route a short distance away, so it's easy to leave the car back at base and get out and about in the local area. Fancy a spot of angling? At Mill House, river fishing is available for an extra fee. There are also plenty of walks and cycling trails along the waterways and in the surrounding countryside to explore during your time here.

喜欢: Mill House Campsite offers a tranquil setting nestled between the River Severn and the Droitwich Canal, providing picturesque views and a peaceful atmosphere. The site is well-maintained, featuring clean toilet and shower facilities, as well as a convenient washing-up area. Its proximity to Worcester city center (a 10-minute drive) and nearby attractions like the West Midland Safari Park makes it an excellent base for exploring the area. The campsite is dog-friendly and allows barbecues, enhancing the outdoor experience. Additionally, river fishing is available for an extra fee, and there are ample walking and cycling trails nearby.

不喜欢: Would be lovely to add playground facilities suitable for older children too. I'd suggest the park is only for very young children.
Only get 15mins free WiFi then there's a £3.50 charge per day. No mobile signal in the fields so people may feel necessary to pay this.
Would have liked veggie options advertised at the food van.

Our internet is an outside company I don't have any control over it this had to happen to get signal in the fields we did have bouncy castles up all day on Saturday for the older children there is also a games room with pool tables and extra games I will let the food truck guys know about the veggie options this is also an outside company and his first time here with a smaller menu but will definitely put your thoughts across

Great site with level pitches, only downside is proximity to road.

喜欢: Fabulous facilities. Wash up area, loos and showers spotless. Chemical disposal very good. Water easily accessible on entering site. Drinking water easily accessible. Site very well maintained with a fun on-site drinks van. Super walk along the canal. Dogs very welcome.

不喜欢: Very closely situated to a busy road so can be noisy.

喜欢: Had a fantastic pitch by the river, the washing up area was clean and tidy with lots of hot water. Check in was smooth and efficient and the toilet and shower block was spotlessly clean, warm and the showers were warm with plenty of room to move around in.

不喜欢: A long walk to toilets and the walk to bus stop has no pavement so you walk on grass the side of a very busy dual carriage way. Only free WiFi for 15 mins once then have to pay, but the pubs in town free wifi

喜欢: Site is very pretty with the river winding its way around. Newly refurbished toilet and shower block is excellent and the availability of drinks and food on a weekend is a bonus. Pitches are level and site is well kept.

As it's just a few miles to the north of Worcester (10 minutes' drive), you're sure to want to get into the city to visit attractions like Worcester Cathedral (with its famous Norman Crypt), the timber-framed Tudor House Museum, the Royal Worcester Museum with its extensive porcelain collection and Worcester Woods Country Park (out of town, 15 minutes’ drive), which is great for a picnic or dog walk. Slightly further afield, a half-hour drive will get you into the midst of the Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a green and grassy range of peaks with lots of hikes to choose from. Head in the opposite direction for a day trip to Kinver Edge (half an hour), an elevated sandstone ridge and ancient hillfort with far-reaching views. Got kids who need to be kept entertained? Cadbury World (40 minutes) on the edge of Birmingham is sure to prove popular with sweet-toothed tiddlers. Other good options in the vicinity of Mill House include the West Midland Safari Park (20 minutes) and Full Throttle Raceway (half an hour), where there's a separate mini track for young children.
