Friendly and family-run: that’s a good introduction to Green Lane Farm. Surrounded by rural north Shropshire and its many market towns, the pitches at this site are popular with families as a base for visiting castles, gardens and weekly markets. The spacious pitches are laid out over two fields. Each has a kids’ playground, as well as plenty of space for them to run free while the parents unwind. In each field, there’s also a clean shower block with toilets and a washing-up area. Handily for families who have a furry family member, dogs are welcome on site as long as they are kept on a lead. When you want to get out and about, set your sights on local market towns such as Whitchurch and Wem, which are both within 10 to 15 minutes’ drive of the site. For laidback drinks or meals, a generous handful of pubs are within 10 minutes’ drive of the site too, either in Whitchurch or the surrounding countryside. Chester’s Roman remains are 45 minutes’ drive away should you want to go sightseeing for a day. In just 35 minutes, drive to Shrewsbury too, which sits along the river Severn and has gorgeous half-timbered Tudor houses and a medieval castle. Plenty of activities and events throughout all of these cities and towns.

喜欢: Fantastic friendly site with great clean facilities. Our little boy especially loved the park and playing with other children on site. We visited Bewilderwood, just 15 mins away. Our first time using a touring caravan and we loved it! We really appreciate being able to leave the van a few days too due to floods at home, Thank you!

喜欢: I stayed with my sister in law and my 3 children. It was a lovely little site! The toilets and shower facilities were nice and clean. My children loved the play area and there was a nice big grass area for them to play on. We had a great weekend and would definitely return here.

喜欢: Clean, friendly site with good size pitches. Large space for children to play. Seemed to be mostly long stay caravans so site seemed very quiet for last weekend of half term. Would definitely go back.

喜欢: A quiet site, beautifully kept, friendly owner. Huge pitch area, close to ehu and drinking water taps. Picnic benches and chairs available next to the pitch, told we were able to use and move them as we needed. Children's play area and grassy space perfect for riding bikes, playing catch, making friends, our kids loves it. Dog friendly site, all dogs well behaved and cleaned up after. Clean, comfortable, well lit bathrooms with hot showers in spacious area with hooks and a seat, disco lights in the shower head which the kids loved.

Pitch size is generous overall a lovely stay and will be returning
