Spring Field Dark Skies Eco Camp

喜欢: Absolutely amazing stay. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the lovely couple running the site. They showed us to our pitch and were so helpful informing us about the facilities etc. the facilities were always clean and topped up, couldn’t ask for anything more on that front. The views from the pitches were absolutely stunning. We would recommend a short drive to the Riverside Inn for a roast. A perfect chilled weekend.

Beautiful bluebell wood for dog walking just off the drive
Quiet and peaceful site, had a great sleep!

不喜欢: Showers go cold after each button push but a minor point. Just step back for a few seconds.

喜欢: That view! The bluebell woods, the taste of the water - so pure. Everything they do for the planet. Brilliant. The new toilets are lovely. Owners were so welcoming and couldn’t do enough to help.

喜欢: Beautiful views and friendly owners. Great place to see the stars.

不喜欢: Loud helicopter/airplane noises at night, wakes you up each time one goes over (this is no fault of the owners but something to keep in mind).

The RAF do occasionally have nigh time flights but we take comfort that they are brave and keep us safe.
They do need to practice.
Indeed Princes William and Harry trained there.

With regard to facilities, we are only a small, private campsite and not a holiday camp.
We offer peace and tranquility and access to amazing walks and historical sites.
There is a large communal firepit should guests wish for company or even to cook on.

We have new separate ladies and men's showers and all camping drop out and top up facilities.
We are there if guests need anything or just even advice on walks etc.
