喜欢 The toilet/shower block was fantastic - best I have seen probably. The had a freezer on site which was very handy for the cooler box. Also, a comfortable walk to a great pub.

不喜欢 They did not have set pitches, which meant some other parties pitched quite close to us. This means we didn't have a lot of privacy, and we were woken up in the night by children crying.

喜欢 Just spent the BH weekend here with family and friends. Really nice site, plenty of space and not too crowded. Really nice (and new I think) shower block. Very good arrangement to pay for and access fire pits and logs if you wanted to. Basic washing up facility in the camping field. Owners very helpful and quick to answer any questions. Two or three villages with pubs reachable by nice mainly offroad walks.

不喜欢 Nothing really. Hot water at the washing up point would be nice but it's not a big deal just for a few days. Some more phone charging points maybe in the area where the freezer is would be good.

喜欢 We had such a great time at this campsite! It’s set in a gorgeous rural location. The local pub, The George, is just a short walk away and served great food and had super friendly staff.

The facilities on site were excellent - the showers and toilets were spotless the whole time we were there. We also hired a fire pit, which was really easy to arrange.

It’s a brilliant place for families, especially with young kids. Everything felt really safe and welcoming. We’d definitely recommend it and will 100% be back!

Go on, treat yourself to a drink – local brews and guided tours can be tracked down at the Victorian Hook Norton Brewery (15 minutes’ drive) or the Cotswold Distillery Visitor Centre (20 minutes). An excellent challenge might be to tackle a stretch of the Roman Fosse Way, a Roman road that passes through characterful towns like Stow-on-the-Wold (half an hour) and Moreton-in-Marsh (25 minutes). Historic your itinerary may very well be… local National Trust sites include Chastleton House (20 minutes), Upton House (25 minutes) and Stowe Gardens (35 minutes). Medieval Warwick Castle (45 minutes) and Blenheim Palace in Woodstock (20 minutes), are yet more historic attractions. Of course, families are likely to be looking for lively places to keep kids well-entertained. Such spots include Cotswold Wildlife Park & Gardens (40 minutes), Birdland Park & Gardens (35 minutes), Cotswold Farm Park (40 minutes) and The Model Village (35 minutes) in Bourton-on-the-Water. If you have time to fit in some bargain hunting, Bicester Village (25 minutes) is the place to go too.
