Great walks to a lovely local village straight from the campsite
Easy to drive to and find for first time towers
Lovely views from the inside in the caravan
不喜欢 The owner wasn’t very welcoming or friendly
The local dog kennels is extremely loud with constant barking day and night
All pitches are on a slope
There seem to be a lot of rules - eg. No heating of awnings, no clothes airers or drying clothes outside, no parking or sitting on any grass
No views from outside the caravan as you’re just looking at the back of someone else’s van

喜欢 Pitch and toilets. Fortunate to have a south facing pitch with sun on the awning.
不喜欢 The fact that when we left, the site was empty and we had to be off by 12. We couldn't even have left the van for a few hours off the pitch!!
Not what you'd call customer friendly!! Otherwise would have been all stars.

喜欢 Apart from aircraft noise from East Midlands Airport, that didn’t bother us and not that regular, it was a quiet site with just a few pitches. These were in good condition with all services. Short walk in East Leake that has an abundance of amenities including three pubs. Would thoroughly recommend the Bulls Head for food.
不喜欢 No one on site to see us in and no sign of anyone during our stay. There was a problem with a sink but couldn’t find anyone to raise it with.

喜欢 We loved the fact this location offers fully serviced pitches. The site is obviously well looked after with the grass nicely cut.
The on site toilets and shower area was very well maintained and very clean. They look new. The addition of a washing machine and tumble drier is a nice touch, although we never made use of them.
Being a pilot, I particularly liked the planes going overhead on their approach to East Midlands airport. Obviously loud when they go over, but its not that much of a problem.

喜欢 Beautiful site - very well maintained and immaculate facilities.
We had a peaceful restful week and it was a nice walk from the site into East Leake for pubs, restaurants and shops etc.
