This is what every other site we visit needs to match up against from now on.

Views of the touring pitches on the site

Rural roams are firmly on the agenda at Hanworth Country Park, a serene site dotted with pretty paths and six lakes around 15 minutes’ drive from Lincoln. And angling’s on the cards too – four of the bodies of water here, stocked with mirror carp, common carp, chub, barbel, ide, perch, roach and tench, are open for fishing. There’s also a café-bar to order takeaway food and drink (with a handful of tables if you fancy eating in). Travelling with the tiddlers? Let them roam free in the play area. Animals are also often seen scampering around the park, especially around the lakes and woodland: think buzzards, red kites, woodpeckers and kestrels, as well as brown hares, squirrels, hedgehogs and deer. Attempt to catch a glimpse of these critters while roving along routes through the country park, either on foot or by bike; a favourite trails is the famed Lincolnshire Spires and Steeples path, which runs through the park and ends up at Lincoln Cathedral. Closer by is the village of Potterhanworth (10 minutes’ walk), a peaceful place with a handful of amenities including a large playing field with a play park, a skateboard park and tennis courts. A pub’s in the centre of the village – handy for evening drinks – and there’s a bus stop plying the Lincoln to Sleaford and Lincoln to Boston routes for explores via public transport. Surrounding villages such as Metheringham, Branston, Heighington and Washingborough are all within five miles and have conveniences like food shops, inn, takeaways, cafés, butchers and post offices.

不喜欢: Not exactly a dislike but it would be useful had the reception sold milk and eggs and bread. Poor free wifi

喜欢: The park was lovely and clean and tidy and the staff were excellent especially in the restaurant even though they were under pressure. The staff were very informative about walks and cycle tracks.

不喜欢: The toilets and showers were not very clean and could do with getting rid of the shower curtains although they were extremely warm. Water was red hot one minute and freezing the next. Did not bother us as used our own after that.

喜欢: Love this site. It was quite busy compared to when we stayed previously, but it was Easter Weekend.
Great that they now do water activities even though I didn’t try them. It’s far too cold for me still!
It was nice to see all the efforts to bring people to the site with bouncy castles and Easter egg hunts.
Staff were lovely.

不喜欢: The men’s shower block needs some attention - there is nowhere to hang anything to keep things from getting wet. Very cramped area and ended up having to stand in a puddle of water to change as the curtains didn’t stop the water

喜欢: Beautifully presented on every level - the site, cage reception, grounds, playground and facilities.

Facilities were absolutely spot on.

Cafe lovely with great menu.

The reception staff were lovely and so helpful

不喜欢: Nothing to comment on here! The bar shuts early but this isn't a criticism as such

喜欢: What’s not to like this campsite is SUPERB! The staff are excellent..friendly and accommodating. The site is spotless and the fishing lakes are an added bonus. The wildlife around the site is fabulous and love to hear the geese….chatting away! We really enjoyed our first stay here and have booked again for July.

不喜欢: The only downside maybe for some but not for us was the WiFi. You have to pay for this and the service was intermittent but it’s not a priority for us but guess it would be for those addicted to their screens.

如遇恶劣天气、延迟到店或提前离店，不予退款/打折。
营地将在您到店前7天向您发送更详细的入住信息。

安全

严禁明火。
建议住客自行携带高质量手电筒，因为部分营地区域没有照明。
禁止在湖里游泳。
禁止携带枪支。

狗

导盲犬可入内，不收取费用。
必须给狗系牵引绳并随时看管。
营地不允许携带《危险犬类法》中所列的犬类/杂交种。

税费

此区域不收取城市税。

访客

访客必须在00:00前离开露营场所。

车辆

装置长度不允许超过9米。
露营单元旁仅可停放一辆汽车。其余车辆必须停放在指定区域。

通用条款

Refunds within the indicated cancellation period are only possible if the site is able to relet your unit/pitch. 只有在营地能够成功转租您预订的装置/单元时，方可于所示取消期内退款。
The site is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.
