As will any sane person who makes it their mission to go camping in Ingoldmells: the Lincolnshire resort is a town where caravanners and campers have been pitching up for decades. And these days it’s New And Improved with the addition of the Fantasy Island theme park on Ingoldmells’s South Beach, the place where records are made – Fantasy Island has the longest looping rollercoaster in Europe in its Millennium Roller Coaster, and the longest suspended rollercoaster in all the wide world on the Jubilee Odyssey. Another record? Europe’s biggest indoor market is at Fantasy Island too.
Have yourself a merry little time looping up and down and round and round the theme park, then stagger off to the long length of South Beach sand to recover with an ice cream (dogs are allowed here too and should be given their own ice cream). Another fun-filled fact for those coming over all holidaylike at an Ingoldmells campsite? Skegness (south) and Mablethorpe (north) are only a few miles away too.
