喜欢 Slightly concerned after reading recent reviews about lack of cleanliness and intimidating long term residents but this was unfounded. The few families there long term seem to be connected to the people working on and improving the site and they were perfectly friendly and their children were polite. More showers than the reviews suggested too - one for men, one for women and a further two in a unisex block. Great environment.

不喜欢 Poor WiFi, could have done with another sink in the toilet block. It’s a shame they seem to be doing away with camping in favour of the lodges.

喜欢 Nice and quiet and lively scenery. Nice walk around the lake and our Border Collie enjoyed every minute too.
Great location, supermarket close by if supplies are needed.

不喜欢 Only one shower each for male and female but didn’t have to queue so not really an issue

Lady was lovely and flexible nice walks near by and lovely toilet and shower facility with alot of information and personal touches definitely return again

不喜欢 Not dislike but if any busier 1 toilet not enough with little ones

喜欢 Camping area was clean and flat. Grass well maintained. Location quiet. Quick drive to local towns. Very cheap if you’re passing through.

不喜欢 Toilets and showers require an upgrade and a deep clean. There is only one shower which is not enough when it is busy.

喜欢 The location was good. Easy journey to Hull and the coast. The site was quiet.

不喜欢 The shower blocks need an upgrade or to be maintained better. Lots of cobwebs and dirt. Water was hot though.

不喜欢 How can you say its a collection of weirdos living there permanently without upsetting some as possibly have no choice but alcoholics, smack heads and travellers mixed with weird staff that have no interest in the camping facilities means it won't be on my go to places.

The disabled toilet and shower was locked and when asked was told it was being refurbished but seemed to magically be open and in use whenever the site dweller who lived in cabin opposite toilets wanted to shower.

Staff and assume permanent residents liked to park up and sit drinking outside ladies toilet which a few of the campers including my wife found disturbing

The toilets were absolutely filthy not from recent use but neglect over a long time ... see piccys with gents being worse and shower chair split and dangerous ... the only gent cubicle with a lock was full of skid marks when we arrived and added to over weekend

The supposed wash up area was constantly filthy and full of what I assume was carpet cleaners and filters from the luxury lodges they now have.

As well as at least one traveller family group who seemed to be living there permanently there was a group turned up... ( 1 x transit van 2 x camper vans 1 x caravan multiple adults kids and dogs) all day ... music at full blast drinking all day dogs running freely and fouling where they want... drunk in transit drives off to toilet then wheelspins at speed across loose gravel back to group looking for wallet before dissapearing for a few hours... others left ther were screaming and shouting and fighting with each other before another drunk and a woman drove off at speed before transit drunk returned and built a bonfire with flames higher than their vans ans caravans .

喜欢 Love this site, it's simple and quiet, lovely to relax and let the kids burn off energy, there are no play areas or anything but tbh for the cost it's great it gets the kids exploring and using imagination to keep occupied.

不喜欢 Some work being done/improvements that seem to have cause confusion between what was The willows and what is now Noah's retreat. Everything says ask for John but it's apparently not John

Basic field and electric hook but helpful people. Well located between shops and visiting destinations.
