Introducing: Shepherd's Lodge, tucked in the peaceful Vale of Belvoir. Spanning the borders of Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire, the Vale of Belvoir is packed with natural scenery, characterful villages, scenic countryside and sunsets that will sweep your breath away at times. There are plenty of ways to spend your time at this escape. Simply relax and take in all of the peace and quiet. Embrace the country life and fresh air. You could also feed the ducks or have a chilled glass of wine. The bespoke adults-only shepherd’s huts are set around a lake overlooking Belvoir Castle. They're just five minutes’ drive from Bottesford in Leicestershire. Pretty much everything you’ll need is supplied in the high-end and well-appointed units, each of which has its own decorative theme as well as a private landscaped garden with a hot tub, barbecue and outdoor seating. Inside every hut is underfloor heating and a woodburning stove (two bags of wood are provided and more can be bought on site), a snazzy ensuite shower room with toiletries provided and a carefully kitted-out kitchen with hob, microwave and all utensils. The accommodation checklist is completed with crisp linens on the double beds, a small table for dining à deux and cosy padded seating under the windows. There’s also a covered communal bar area; Duck Inn has tables, swing chairs and a fridge for you to keep booze and food in. Here you can relax with your favourite drink, make new friends with fellow guests or stargaze on clear nights.

喜欢: Tranquil surroundings. Beautifully decorated accommodation. Very thoughtful and friendly host. Great information folder for our stay. The snug was so lovely with a lovely wow factor touch. Really valued the underfloor heating. Great hot drinks provisions.

不喜欢: Bedsheet kept popping off and hard to get back on in the snug, would suggest having deeper fitted bedsheets to hopefully avoid that issue.

喜欢: Bonnie's lodge was very comfortable and well equipped. Everything there on a miniature scale. Lovely established site with private areas for each hut. Good local amenities.

不喜欢: Would have been good to have WiFi as the phone reception is not great.

喜欢: WOW, Amazing views, peaceful, well equipped, comfortable, just lovely all round. The huts are beautiful. the hot tubs are amazing once you get them to temperature and the owner is very friendly.

不喜欢: Nothing.
but as a suggestion it would be good to add canopies over the hot tubs. We had lovely weather while we were there but I cant image being in the hot tub in bad weather would be very nice.

喜欢: Beautiful isolated hideaway. Personal, kind and friendly host, who made sure everything was as we needed. Hut was decorated to perfection. Perfect for a girlie getaway.

Outdoor private seating area with a stunning view of the lake. Natural burning hot tub to add to the tranquil atmosphere

不喜欢: No fault of the owner but it was difficult to locate by post code. Once located all was well

喜欢: The hut was so very cute . The owner was lovely and very helpful and went above and beyond. The scenery was very picturesque and is based in a lovley area. The hut was clean and tidy and had all essential you could need.

不喜欢: We found the hot tub hard to use. However this is no fault to the owner as he offered to come and help if we need it.
