喜欢: The quiet, serene environment. The amount of information we were provided with prior and upon arrival to our stay. The amount of space we had per pitch.

不喜欢: Minimal phone signal and no wi-fi which was great to get away from technology once we all arrived and were set up but proved tricky to navigate ourselves to find the nearest shop upon arrival as well as to be able to try and contact the other people we were travelling with as we arrived at separate times.

喜欢: Fantastic small campground. Almost feels like wild camping due to the layout & space between pitches. The coffee cart & pizza place on site are great additions. Really like it's potential as a small live music venue too. Friendly & helpful owners.

喜欢: We had an unforgettable stay at Purple Badger Camping and Fishing Lakes with our young family! The campsite was a perfect little haven, surrounded by nature and so peaceful—it was just what we needed to unwind. The showers and toilets were spotless, which made everything so comfortable and easy.

Helen and Mark were the most wonderful hosts—so friendly and welcoming!

Our kids absolutely loved the Chicken Shed, filled with books and toys. It was such a thoughtful touch that made our days around the campsite extra special. They made new friends, toasted marshmallows, and enjoyed tucking into yummy wood-fired pizzas.

The area around the campsite was fantastic for exploring. We enjoyed biking around Rutland, finding our way through the Wistow Maze, and simply rambling through the beautiful countryside. It was a perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. We can’t wait to come back and create more happy memories!

喜欢: Fantastic venue. Quiet, spacious and clean. Loved the fishing lakes (though didn't catch unfortunately!).

Tried the stone baked pizza and it was delicious.

Loved that we could have our own barbeque and that there was a firepit.

The owner Mark was very friendly and helpful.

不喜欢: Seems to be in the vicinity of a sewage treatment plant. And unfortunately could sometimes feta pungent smell which may have been coming from there. Having a BBQ and Fire also definitely helped mask this.

喜欢: Tent very spacious , clean, lovely private area with fire pit, bench seating with umbrella. Very clean loos, lovely stroll around the fishing lake, coffee cart excellent for tea & toast.

喜欢: Purple Badger is a hidden gem . Lovely level private tent pitch. Safe for children to play. Good coffee and hot food and very nice staff. We will be back
