不喜欢: Female toilets were not very clean, no toilet paper or soap even after cleaning had been done
Claims there is 24 hour access to the pub toilets however this turns out to be a dirty portaloo when the pub is closed
The site has recently undergone a change in management but it could do with some tender love and care!

来自经理: Hi, We really wish that you had spoken to us as when people check out we always ask if everything was alright, and address any concerns that they might have. We regularly check the toilets, and replace toilet roll, soap etc, sometimes the bottled soap 'wanders off' with people and as soon as we are alerted to that we replace it. Toilet paper likewise is checked daily, but obviously at some point runs out and we do try to keep on top of that, but alerting us to the fact would have given you an instant remedy to your percieved issue.
We most certainly do NOT claim that the pub toilets are accessible 24/7, the shower is, but the toilets are not, that's made clear to people. The festival toilet is only necessary overnight and it is NOT dirty, in fact it is pumped out weekly and cleaned every day. We have indeed only taken over recently and as with everything some things are a work in progress. So far however in the 6 months we have been here, we have replaced all of the electric points with brand new ones, re surfaced the hardstanding pitches and some of the tracks, (more to be resurfaced as you could see by the aggregate on site), painted the whole pub inside and out, refloored the restaurant, re fitted the kitchen, replaced the beer garden benches, brought the beer garden and fields under control, removed an enormous quantity of rubbish left by the previous tenants and generally afforded it quite a lot of tender love and care actually. We routinely get 10/10 - 8/10 unless it's a spurious review, but more than anything I really wish you had spoken to us if you were unhappy about spending £20 per night on unlimited space with up to 6 guests staying, mains shower which is free and live music as well as a restaurant which opens for breakfast, lunch and dinner on site. I am at a slight loss as to what anyone could want for, in your case £10 each. In any event, if you were unhappy we are deeply sorry, if somewhat surprised as you did not express that during your stay. Many thanks.

喜欢: Nice and spacious site, and the pub served delicious food too.
Lovely pub garden, with a park for the children too (a bit outdated, but still all functional!) The staff are lovely and chatty too.

不喜欢: We werent told where the facilities were on arrival but it was pretty obvious when we'd be in the pub. We didn't use any facilities, except the toilets as only there for 1 night.

喜欢: Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this safe, friendly, informal site. Had a very relaxing stay and our dogs were very welcome too. All the staff were chatty and the food was superb. Great portion sizes and super quality. An easy walk into town with a Morrisons on the doorstep. Lots of country walks accessible from site too. Would definitely recommend a stay.

喜欢: The guys running the place were super friendly and helpful. The home cooked burgers were really good at the pub and our 10 year olds loved the pool table and darts.

喜欢: We visited on mid-February and liked everything overall, the site was having some work done so it was a little muddy but okay. The pub is really nice and the staff are friendly, the food was excellent, really tasty and large portions, we were only there two nights and eat at the pub on both nights it's that good. Oh!! and the desserts are just as good and big.

We didn't use the toilets or showers but they seemed okay.

The site is about a 20-25 minute walk from Leominster town centre and is a straight walk from the site. The town has some nice cafes and lots of antique shops to look around.

We enjoyed the site, pub and town during our two days.

来自经理: We will address your review point by point. We are by a main road, this is easily checked when looking at a map,it is at an intersection of 2 A roads, it's convenient and not loud or noisy in most people's opinion. Our location is not a secret.
'It's very wet and muddy'- It is January. It is Herefordshire. You were camping in a field after a considerable series of storms and rains.Without trying to be too harsh on your ability to grasp this- why are you surprised that a field is wet and muddy after it rains? We unsurprisingly have no control over the weather. We wish we did.
The food is always spectacular, we have very experienced and dilligent Chef and everyone who eats here is always food checked, that is we always ask after a few moments if everything is alright. That is the time to raise anything amiss not by review a few days later. We also interestingly can't find any record of you having eaten with us, perhaps you would like to supply us with your receipt telling us when and what you ate? We pride ourselves on our customer service and food, and feel that this review is spurious and not a reflection of our business whatsoever.

喜欢: Very welcoming greet & service on site at the pub & restaurant. We went New Year’s Eve so very busy but everyone on site got to get into the celebrations with plenty of friendly locals.

不喜欢: Toilet block didn’t open till later in the morning but understandable due to their not finishing until past 2am on New Year’s Eve. The singular portaloo wasn’t up to the post celebration requirements lol

喜欢: The pub was nice, the open fire lush!

不喜欢: Wasn’t made to feel welcome initially by the bar man.
The hard standing pitches were poor - had to park in a gate way.
No signage for shower/toilet.
Very muddy obviously due to poor weather.
This site had loads of potential but I wouldn’t stay again. Very loud noisy road running round the site.

喜欢: Lovely food, people who own the pub are so helpful & friendly, nothing too much trouble. Close to Leominster. Pub on site with amazing food, pool table and pub garden with lots of tables outside. Would be great in the summer. Bit noisy from the road during the day but very quiet at night, this was told to us when arrived but not a problem to us. Has shower but didn't use. We will be back.

不喜欢: They have taken it over in the last few months, so have things to do obviously, like gravel pitches for caravans, but its level and and a good base. Electric hook up and water in each bay. Couple beers not on tap yet but that will come. Food makes up for it all, huge portions & delicious. WiFi would have been good as said its not great but I guess another thing that will come .
