Berrends Farm Caravan and Camp Site

喜欢: Lovely peaceful site with a lot more facilities than you'd expect for the absolute bargain price I paid!
Host was approachable, pleasant and helpful and came straight out to meet me on my arrival.

The grass was well trimmed with well layed out pitches with ample room for my caravan and van parked side by side.

There's also a big green tick for the host's recycling initiative, with separate containers for most waste produced by campers.

喜欢: Nice large space to put your tent up
Assortment of bins etc to put your rubbish etc in plenty of electricity points if needed
The farmer came round to check that everything was ok.A nice touch

不喜欢: A little bit difficult to find an not in the village.
Quite a bit of noise from the M50 motorway

喜欢: The site was so easy to find, the owner was really nice and it was so clean. The facilities had everything you need and the washup/bin area was really clean to! Would highly recommend

喜欢: Lovely little site, all the better because we were the only ones there. Basic but quite adequate and plenty of hot water.

不喜欢: Shower block and washing up facilities could have been cleaner

喜欢: Small scale site that was quite quiet when we stayed. Easy to get to from the motorway. Plenty of hot water for showers. Lovely having the goats and pigs nearby to say hi to. Handy to have a fridge and small freezer available.

不喜欢: Lack of any staff around to talk to. Amenities could do with some TLC. Open bin for food waste when there were quite a lot of rats about. I know they're a part of being on a farm, but I worried the open bins in the camp site would attract them to where the tents were.

来自经理: Thank you for your review. Unfortunately you have stayed when we have had our own family holiday for a few days after a very busy summer. Saying that, our phone numbers are in various places throughout the campsite and you were welcome to call us at anytime night or day.
The food waste bin is emptied regularly but we completely take on board your comments and will review this procedure.
We have vermin control throughout the farm and we have never seen in the campsite.

喜欢: Lovely setting in orchard, rustic feel.

Great stay, incredibly handy midpoint stopover when travelling to South West. Site owner was responsive and site overall had a friendly and well organised feel.
