喜欢: The accommodation was well laid out and had everything you need. Perfect if you want to spend the day chilling but there are also lots to see and do nearby. The host Sid was friendly and happy to help suggest places for us to visit.

喜欢: We had a wonderful weekend at The Hoot.

The accommodation itself is immaculately clean, with everything you could possibly need layed out, even a small torch!

The surrounding areas are a ramblers paradise, a trip to Coaley Peak on a clear night is a truly memorable experience.

The walks we did were welcomed, largely as we ate our body weight in the fantastic locally produced cheese we bought from the farm vending machine near the accommodation.

Sid is a wonderful host, chatty and friendly but also respectful of privacy.

We had a rare child free weekend and this was the perfect tonic to recharge.

Even the unpredictable weather didn't spoil things.

I highly recommend this location for visitors to Westonbirt aboretum or Slimbridge and for those who like to go on walks through unspoilt countryside.

Not sure if WiFi available. For us that was the last thing we wanted anyway.

喜欢: Fantastic location - very close to Badminton horse trials!

Walkable to village with local dairy and their cheese and milk vending machine!

Very friendly hosts, who are happy to chat and that also allow you your space. Will be back soon!

喜欢: Farmer Sid was lovely.
He showed us round his small farm and the boys got to sit in his tractor.
The lodge was very clean and well equipped with everything you needed to have a stress free holiday.
Having the bed lining and towels provided really helped with space in the car.
The views were amazing especially from a view point Sid pointed out 10mins up the road.
Theres lots to do/visit within an hrs drive so its a good location for exploring.
We will be back!

喜欢: The host (welcoming and explaining everything), the setup, how organised the place was, and how well the pod was equipped (spare toilet roll, storage space, spare blankets, milke & cereal left available etc). Mobile signal was very good. At the access road entrance there was a small farm vending shop which we used for local dairy produce which was lovely!
