The cute and cosy grounds at Hunts Court Huts are just the thing for peaceful adults-only breaks in the countryside. This working Gloucestershire farm is located close to many of the best parts of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so you stand a good chance of leaving refreshed and rejuvenated by all the surrounding nature. As well as access to the farm's extensive grounds and its animals, guests here have a three-acre garden to explore. The owners of the place actually live on site, so don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions about what's best to do in the surrounding area. If you do ever manage to drag yourself away from this little retreat, there are plenty of stately mansions in these parts of Gloucestershire, including Newark Park (15 minutes’ drive) and Dyrham Park (35 minutes) or Berkeley Castle. Roman sites, art galleries and gorgeous gardens are all within reach for your leisurely days out too. There are plenty of local pubs to choose from if you fancy a change of scenery in the evening. In the morning, you may also want to stroll to the village coffee shop, which is only a five-minute walk away.

喜欢: Everything about this place is amazing. The owners are so kind and everything is spotless. The hottub is always ready for when you Beth there and there’s enough wood for the fire too for the whole weekend. Nothing is too much trouble. When you arrive there are always 4 homemade cookies that have been cooked by Walter and they are amazing. They have everything from shampoo and conditioner to tea towels and washing up liquid. All you need is your clothes. Perfect stay every time I’ve been.

喜欢: Gorgeous location, fabulous hosts, so peaceful, a great little get away from every day life. The cabin was so clean and modern. The wood fired hot tub was lovely and super relaxing. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

喜欢: Everything about it. You didn’t want for anything. My husband and I travelled there for our wedding anniversary. Deb and Walter were so lovely and catered to our needs. Everything you could think of was in the pod even a make up remover cloth. So thoughtful and the land was stunning. The cookies on arrival were amazing. It was the most relaxing weekend and I can’t wait to go again.

喜欢: Lovely weekend getaway for my boyfriends birthday. Really enjoyed our stay, the hut was immaculately clean and had everything you needed. The hosts were the nicest people and were kind enough to put a birthday banner up with balloons. Will be back again loved it

喜欢: Great accommodation with all the required facilities and extra touches.

Hot tub was heated up ready for us and we were welcomed with cookies on the table.

Walter and Deb were super helpful and ensured we had a relaxed stay.

It was also great to see the birds of prey on site.

Should you ever manage to drag yourself away from this delightful retreat, there are plenty of majestic places to check out in Gloucestershire. You can easily spend the day at Berkeley Castle (15 minutes' drive) with its schedule of enactments, jousting events and falconry displays. If checking out gardens is your thing, here’s a chance to explore Westonbirt, The National Arboretum (25 minutes), known for its rare collections of trees and nature trails. The National Trust-owned Woodchester Park (20 minutes) is a warren of river and woodland walks where you might get lucky and spot herons, and you can even have a nose round King Charles’s garden at Highgrove House (20 minutes). And talking of King Charles, you can pick silk scarves and jars of honey from his Highgrove Shop in the cute market town of Tetbury (20 minutes). Wotton-under-Edge (10 minutes) turns up antiques emporiums and art galleries, while Cirencester (40 minutes) is home to Roman ruins, which you can learn more about in the engrossing Corinium Museum.
