喜欢 Lovely quiet site. Off grid but had compost toilets (didn't use) as had our own and a couple of showers. Washing up sinks. Great walk around the farm trail. Lovely family.

不喜欢 One of the showers was unbearably hot but the other was fine.

喜欢 What a wonderful place, a woodland trail, a field with no boundaries to where you pitched and no vehicles on the field too. Was very nice to be able to park the Motorbike in the open Barn so if we did have some rain it was sheltered. Surprised some other people didn't quite get the concept of Greenfield campsites as heard a couple of people asking where to put the rubbish!
I woke to the sound of the Skylark before dawn of the morning of the Summer Solstice and what a sunrise I got to see. I was joined by a Hare in the field and the birds singing their morning chorus. An amazing space to chill out, relax and just rest.

不喜欢 It's a bit stoney and hard on the ground so you will need to pack a hammer/ mallet to put your tent pegs in with. Not a negative but something that you should be aware of.
Just an idea that maybe some solar powered lights in the toilets might help.

喜欢 The wild flower camping area was amazing we had pyramidal orchids on our pitch and a hare walk past the tent one morning. Site was very peaceful.

不喜欢 Composting toilets were a bit smelly but it was very hot so to be expected

喜欢 Very easy to book this site and then good directions to find it and smooth check in.
I pitched my tent in the wild flower area with pitches clearly marked and well spaced apart.
Very wide open feel to the site with great views and very tranquil.
Loved the layout of the showers and toilets in the wooded area.
I enjoyed a thoroughly peaceful stay.

Washing up stations without hot water
Limit amount of showers and intermittent hot water

喜欢 Location, farm shop, pitches, view

不喜欢 No hot water to wash up and showers although they were beautifully located in the woods, they were boiling hot and didn't feel like ,y children could use them for fear of being scalded. Fine for adults and I’m not complaining for myself just to make children especially young children aware.
