Pub food was very tasty (pre booking required)

喜欢: Good standard for a small site and well organised. Great food and beer at the Chequers pub, with 2 beer gardens. Ideal for short and quiet stays.
不喜欢: A village shop would have been a bonus.

喜欢: The site is very well maintained. The pitch size is large. Each one comes with a picnic table with seating. The site is set in a lovely wee village. But the main thing we enjoyed was meeting the host and drinking and eating in her pub. The pub is lovely. And all the staff are very welcoming and friendly. They went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one, so much so that we went for one night and booked a second night while we were there.

喜欢: Gatwd site, so safe for dogs and children. Perfectly flat hardstanding pitch with hookup, water fill and waste drains.
Very helpful landlady. All pub facilities accessible.
不喜欢: No showers. A breakfast option in the pub would have scored a 10/10, sadly not available on the day.

喜欢: Lovely welcome from Sue. Great site with 24 hour access to pub toilets. There is a good dog walk next to the site. Great idea to pre order food which was excellent.
Good selection of beers in the bar and a friendly atmospere. We will return to this adult only site.

喜欢: The pub landlady was excellent! We enjoyed the village the pub the falcon Ken Moon (I think that was his name) and electric hook up and space was very good and it was very quiet and peaceful!
