One thing’s for sure: you’ll never starve when you book in at pop-up Stella’s Kitchen Campsite between the historic Derbyshire villages of Eyam and Foolow, for this back-to-basics spot sits in a farm field right next to a Caribbean restaurant hosted by the inimitable Stella Kisob herself. Combine that with spectacular views of the Peak District National Park from your pitch, and you’ll surely agree that you’re on to a winner. The great views from the (slightly sloping) camping field are matched by fantastic walks straight from your tent. If you’re out all day roaming the national park, you are guaranteed a warm welcome and delicious takeaway meals from Stella, showcasing locally sourced fresh ingredients and traditional Afro-Caribbean flavours. Firepits can be hired for the odd night when you don’t want to dine with Stella. Simple showers and loos are also available on site, but there’s no electricity so bring torches to get around after dark.

喜欢: We had the privilege of camping at Stella’s the first night her campsite was open. We had a lovely stay - the views are beautiful, it is a quiet location, with clean facilities. Stella is a wonderful host and we had a delicious Afro-Caribbean meal at her restaurant in the evening. Highly recommend.
