喜欢: Spotlessly clean, great facilities, beautiful location. Quiet , stunning scenery
不喜欢: The pitch had a brick wall at the rear which meant we had to pitch our caravan horizontally thankfully we had a motor mover !

喜欢: The setting was beautiful, surrounded by rolling fields and cows mooing.
Great location, Buxton and Bakewell a short drive away.

喜欢: Very nice and clean facilities (showers, toilets, kitchen, lounge), although they may be too small when the site is full.
Great location in the Peak District, several walks can be made from the site. Good pub in walking distance (20 minutes, partly uphill).
不喜欢: The site is literally next to a busy and noisy road.
A lot of the site looks like a parking lot, with a lot of tarmac. We probably had the nicest spot (no. 17, only for small campervans) (that's also the sight seen in the campsite's picture), right next to a field and with a beautiful view of Chelmerton - you just have to ignore the noise from the road right in your back.

喜欢: Excellent individual pitches with shrubs between pitches. Very clean facilities. Site within easy reach of Castleton, Bakewell & Buxton.

喜欢: Pitch offering and the facilities including the enclosed dog field. All clean and tidy. Self check in and out so did not see any staff.
不喜欢: No onsite shop or local shop but aware of this before booking so our choice but would make this place even better!
