喜欢: Quick, friendly email comms prior to booking.
They allowed a small group of friends which other campsites don't allow. Not all groups of friends are rowdy and trash the place and Penn Meadow Farm were so welcoming.
Lovely space.
Good facilities.

喜欢: Loved the actual space, the wildflower meadow is fabulous to camp by and just watch the insects darting in and out. Brilliantly located to footpaths and the local pub, which is perfect with a dog to avoid road walking. Lovely and quiet.

不喜欢: Could do with a few more showers. Surprised at the amount of dogs wandering around off lead (not including the sheep dogs). Only one drinking water tap, which is also the washing up area can cause queues.

Thank you so much for your feedback, we are so glad you enjoyed it and that you were able to enjoy the natural space that we have been working on. It really is such an amazing space that it so close to town yet somehow hidden in the hills. We do have two drinking taps in the main field and one in the Alpaca field, I'm so sorry you didn't locate these. Please let us know on your next visit and we will show you where to find them.

喜欢: Lovely location, it feels very rural when actually you are surrounded by busy Bucks but it’s all hidden by hills. It’s a very short walk to the Royal Standard pub which was charming.

不喜欢: You already know the plumbed facilities are limited; it is what it is; this should not stop you staying here! Unrelatedly, it was very difficult to get pegs more than 3 inches into the ground due to stones but such is life.

Thank you for also understanding about the limitations we have on adding more facilities, we are working on this as fat a the council allows.

喜欢: A beautiful camp site, the children made lots of friends and loved making a campfire.
Facilities were great and kept clean, including showers, portaloos, washing up area and kitchen area with fridge, kettle, hob and toaster.
We had a fantastic time locally and walked down to the royal standard pub which was only a short walk away from the campsite.
The farm dogs were so lovely and the children really enjoyed playing with them.

We do have a live in team who clean the toilets, shared kitchen and other areas, throughout the day and work hard, as is reflected in all of our other reviews.

I believe your low score for customer service may be the interactions with our wonderful team working to maintain our family friendly setting with music at reasonable volumes and explicit language not being used towards other campers or staff members. We are so proud to be a hot spot for family's looking for a safe and relaxed place to re engage with nature, something we will continue to maintain.

As the team also requested you not to return, we do we quite agree that you will not be joining us on your next trip. We hope you find a location that can facilitate your needs in the future.

喜欢: Friendly campsite, lovely views, you can pitch where you want. Loved the sheep dogs, such playful characters and we enjoyed visiting the sheep and alpacas. Bank holiday so fairly busy but a large space so still feels spacious.

不喜欢: Not much you can dislike, a bit busy if you want a shower in the morning but it was a bank holiday weekend!

喜欢: The area. The kitchen area and the visiting food trucks. Also liked the shower facilities although not enough of them.

不喜欢: There were not enough showers or toilets. The portaloos were so dirty it was not possible to use them.
