Lägg till din företagsinformationIf you’ve been hunting high and low for some unusual accommodation in Lot-et-Garonne, stop the search up high with a stay in the trees at Domaine de Pech et Lafon. This adults-only place is on the outskirts of Clairac, in a 15-hectare oak forest – and as if that didn’t sound inviting enough, the luxury treehouses come with private hot tubs… feeling relaxed yet?
Each place is kitted out according to its own nifty theme, with plenty of glam touches and pretty décor to admire (take a look at the pics for proof). Inside, there’s a sleeping area with a queensize bed (linen included), a seating area and a dining area to tuck into tasty breakfasts. There’s a separate toilet and a bathroom with walk-in shower and two sinks (towels, bath robes and slippers will be waiting too).
Also included are heating and air conditioning, so you can be as toasty or chilled as you like, plus a kettle, cafetière and teapot with unlimited coffee, tea and herbal teas. A TV and hi-fi system provide the entertainment… or you could just let yourself be mesmerised by the log-effect fire.
Outside you’ll get a private furnished terrace with gorgeous views over Lot-et-Garonne, which you can soak up from the hot tub, deckchairs or seating area. Close by is an infinity pool overlooking the Garonne valley, with sun loungers dotted around for even more spots to indulge in those views.

Lokala sevärdheter
This may be a place for grownups, but if you feel like letting your inner child loose, there are floating inflatables to conquer at AquaFun Park (35 minutes’ drive) and more thrills at Walibi Sud-Ouest theme park and Lud’O Parc waterpark (both about 40 minutes).
For something heavier on history, wander around the grounds of Château de Trenquelléon (25 minutes) or take a tour of Château-Musée Henri IV (40 minutes). If you’re on the hunt for more castles, head slightly further to Château de Duras (45 minutes) or Château de Biron (an hour).
Stick with the history theme, but add some knowledge of fruit harvesting and processing at Ferme et Musée du Pruneau (10 minutes), a museum telling tales of prunes on a working farm.
Head to Agen (40 minutes) for a day filled with explores of the cathedral, chapel and aqueduct, as well as a nose around the fine arts museum and an amble around Agen Garonne Passeligne-Pélissier Natural Park. There are plenty of opportunities for scenic strolls closer to base, too, or you could take to the water with adventures on the Lot and Garonne rivers.
