Tyckte om: Gorgeous panoramic views in a super tranquil setting. The campsite is really spacious, and the fields are well-maintained.

The eco facilities are clean and comfortable.

The owner is really helpful and accommodating can be bought onsite and he kindly provided us with a barrel to raise up our fire pit.

We’ve stayed twice and look forward to coming back again.

- Secluded and spacious spot
- Firewood available
- Stream running through the site
- Close to lots of lovely walks
- Very polite and helpful host
- Provided fire pits
- out of O2 signal range (perfect for me but might not be ideal for families)

Tyckte inte om: Host mentioned that as of next year it may not dog friendly which is a massive shame as one of the best camp sites I’ve stayed in. Hopefully they change their minds 🤞🏽

With good owners we enjoy and probably let good owners with dogs stay:)
But unfortunately it's that bad apple that spoils it for us and other campers on site

Tyckte om: Really peaceful place, fell asleep to the sound of the stream next to us. Owner was lovely and helpful.
Stayed in oak tree 2 and was the only ones there.
Would 100% come back.

Tyckte om: Absolutely loved this site. I had planned to stay for 2 nights but stayed for a third and enjoyed staying on 2 lovely pitches, both with amazing views. The site is peaceful and relaxing. There is no WiFi or phone reception just immersion in nature. I did two long walks, and was blessed with sunshine on both; the scenery is spectacular. The owners are interesting and inspirational. I will definitely be back.

Tyckte om: We chose the ‘Pond’ secluded pitch for a 4 night stay. Be sure to check the details before you stay - this is eco camping not Butlins - which is absolutely why we chose it!

Great spacious pitch with an island you can chill on, rack a hammock or pitch on if your tent is not too large and you’re brave enough (we weren’t but spent time on the island and paddling)

The loo with a view was a particular favourite feature.

All the wonders of wild camping with the comfort of a piping hot shower & flushing toilet if you’re feeling fancy.

We were lucky enough to have the site to ourselves for a couple of nights which was tranquil.

Jeremy was a gracious host, showing us to our pitch and all the features of the site, we caught him again the following morning for a chat by the shower but were otherwise left to our own devices to enjoy our stay which we did.

The site allows motorcycles so we will definitely look to return on two wheels.

Tyckte inte om: While we appreciate the eco-friendly initiatives at this site, we feel that the facilities do not justify the cost. The showers, toilets, and camping amenities are quite basic, which seems to reflect a lack of investment. As paying customers, we expected a higher standard in these areas.
