Tyckte om: Lovely big pitches, nice and clean, very friendly, had a message the morning after arrival to ask if everything was ok. Good internet on O2 and Vodafone. Amazing dog walk and great walks from the campsite.

Tyckte inte om: Lots of cow fields with a few bull signs. Not keen on walking through those with 2 dogs even through they were on a lead. Great that there was a fridge provided but a freezer section for ice blocks would have been good.

Från föreståndaren: Thank you for your comments they are always gratefully received. Unfortunately the cow fields were probably there before the footpaths and Unfortunately thats where the cows live, there will not be any changes to this, so you may have to find an alternative route if you don't like walking through them.
If you had asked or gone into "the shed" there is a freezer with ice packs you can borrow or space to re freeze your own, or as you had an electric pitch you could have bought your own freezer?

Can be windy, but this is Mother Nature and nothing the host can do about it.

Tyckte om: Luxurious safari tent with everything you could possibly need. Hidden setting as the name suggests. Comfy enough for the grandparents and plenty of the space for the grandkids to play, which they did the entire time.

Tyckte om: All of it. Great walk from the site, peaceful, lovely owner and family that couldn't do enough for us; they even brought Halloween marshmallows and sticks over to us so our two kids could toast them over the open fire.

Från föreståndaren: Thank you for your review it is very much appreciated that guests take the time to write these as they do help us improve for future guests. We are sorry that you found the entrance drive rough unfortunately it is at the minute and there is nothing we can do at this time of year. We have the drive levelled every year before the start of the season so that it is not rough for our guests but after a full season and the unprecedented amount of rain we have had in the last couple of weeks the driveway has unfortunately become bumpy. this will be sorted again before we open again for next season and hope it hast put you of visiting us again.

Tyckte om: What a fantastic find! An idyllic and well resourced campsite set in beautiful English countryside. Ellie was kind enough to tell us of 4 different walks to nearby villages and pubs. The campsite is small and discrete but had fantastic facilities- fridges, hot showers, toilets supplied with toilet rolls.we stayed in the safari tent, which was charming, comfortable and well resourced.
