Riverside Caravan Park at The George

Tyckte om 3rd time using this site as a stop over between Blackpool and Cornwall.
The site is faultless with lovely clean facilities.

Tyckte om was a lovely pitch all clean and tidy lovely staff very friendly...nice play area and lovely walks.. lovely pub too that do lovely food.....will be back for another visit......only downside could have done with a little shop.....

Tyckte om The pitches were level and tidy, sectioned with hedges next to the river. The staff were friendly and approachable and the showers were individual bathrooms. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Tyckte om Peaceful site next to the river, friendly wardens. Good pub food and handy spot to break up a long journey from the south west just off the M5

Tyckte om I met up with family and it was an ideal site for our two campervans with enough room to use both awnings for a camp in the middle of them. Private and a fairly quiet site during the day - very quiet at night.
Also had a nice meal in The George pub.
Georgia was lovely - really helpful and was still at the end of the phone even on her day off! Thank you so much

Tyckte om Marked pitches, feeling of privacy with space around at the same time, good conveniences, little walks for the dog, proximity to pub, and park. Ease of use of barrier - safety that offers in security.

Tyckte om Small, safe, clean site. Really enjoyed our stay! Bathrooms absolutely spotless and I really liked the keycard entry to the park and the bathrooms. Pub park great for the kids. Site was really well looked after and the lady warden was so nice and welcoming.

Tyckte om Stayed on riverside in the last week, The site was very good, plenty of walking for our dog, the pub on site was really good and the staff were very helpfull, and the food was good and plenty of choice, Georgia the warden was so helpful nothing was to much trouble, she walked around the site making sure every one was ok, even on her day off she was walking the site to make sure all was ok.

Tyckte om We had booked 3 nights but did not stay because the pitches were way too close together, the reviews suggested otherwise, they were very misleading. I would highly recommend you review all reviews for the past 7 years as that will make it clear that that in peak times you will have no privacy.

If you have a dog, just consider you may have a breed staying in the pitch next to that your dog may not be agreeable to your dog. Overall highly dissapointed to pre pay for 3 nights in advance for an inadequate pitch and absolutely no empathy from the site in the form of moving our pitch or reimbursing some of the pre payment. So dissapointing.

Från föreståndaren: Thank you for your review, after speaking with yourselves on the phone we did clear a few things and there was some confusion on which pitch you were supposed to be on, unfortunately this landed on a day the warden was not on site due to annual leave. We want to apologise again for the experience you had on your arrival as this is very rare and hope we can welcome you again.

To add for future bookings, it is out of our hands if there is a dog breed on site you do not like and when we are fully booked it is difficult to move pitches. Our pitches are 5m wide x 8m long, this is the maximum so please take into consideration the size of your whole set up and tent guide ropes.
