Понравилось Check in was midday onwards which is great when camping as you don’t want to waste too much of your day waiting for your pitch. The pitch itself was massive! Could have fit two large tents on it. Great facilities on site (I know this as a friend has a lodge there). Toilet and shower blocks were clean and tidy. Sinks to do washing up and a small laundry room too.

Не понравилось Reception did not tell us about the facilities available: swimming pool, bar, shop, crazy golf etc. Showed us where our pitch was but this was poorly signposted. The number was covered in grass, guessed where it was down to having electric and could just about see the number of the electric point. Pitch was slightly on a slope and needed cutting, grass was very long. WiFi and phone signal is awful, you have to pay to connect to the site WiFi which is equally not great at times.

Very pleasant male receptionist who welcomed us to site

Не понравилось Allocated camping spot was occupied by a static ‘show’ caravan
Very grumpy female receptionist who reluctantly tried to sort out a new pitch for us. I understand that the site had been recently taken over by Park Dean and the pitches were allocated centrally. However, the reception team are the customer facing team and represent the company and they cannot complain and side step responsibility.

Понравилось Large pitches
Clean facilities
Plenty to do on site - swimming pool, arcade, farm shop, chip shop, resturant/bars. Lovely childrens park.
Private drive in.

Не понравилось The pitch numbers could be clearer on the ground(overgrown) very minor but nearly ended in a divorce before the tent was set up!
Area is not to our liking but not the sites fault!

Понравилось Pitch size was good. Washing up area was clean. Magician was very good.

Не понравилось First person I met was unfriendly and verging on rude. She was unhelpful and very stern, saying she could not put us close to our friends pitch as we had booked with a 3rd party. However, the pitches close to our friends stayed empty for our entire stay.
Out of the 8 male showers, only 3 were hot, 5 were cold, this was not due to 'having to let it run' as I ran the shower times with no temp change. The 3 that were hot the light above was not working making them quite dark. My wife and daughters said the female showers fluctuated hot and cold during use.

Понравилось Love the site, been loads of times. Great location and facilities.

Не понравилось Booked asking to be pitched up next to our friends, confirmed twice, yet when we got there another member of staff was rude, entitled and told us clearly that they don't confirm pitches next to each other... The pitch next to ours was empty for the duration of our stay. Irritating or what!!
The majority of staff are helpful, and we will not be put off by Mrs Grumpy / in need of a customer care course...

Не понравилось Showers were often cold and dirty, receptionist was rude when discussing speed at which the wardens drive around the site moving and pitching caravans. Grass pitches very unlevel

Понравилось The site is well set out and clean

Не понравилось The restaurant is a bit of a letdown. Ate there twice the staff were nice but the food was not so good. Fish and chips was white fish, not cod, and pretty tasteless. The burger was a real letdown too. It tasted cheap

Close to beautiful beaches

Не понравилось Amount of noise / drunk people until 12:30/1:00am - if this is your scene then it’s fine but with young children in a tent it wasn’t so fun..
Being approached by guys when walking to the toilet at night, did report to wardens who told me they’d do a round , however made me uneasy when kids needed the loo in the night
Not the sites fault but no signal and WiFi wasn’t great in the fields ; I wouldn’t bother buying!
Showers and toilets could do with more regular cleaning in the summer months but they did the job
As we hadn’t booked with park holidays they wouldn’t pitch us near others in our party despite there being spare/ empty pitches for the duration and phoning in advance

Понравилось Close to the coast and lots of attractions made a good base for exploring the sites of North Devon. It was handy to have some facilities on site such as bar, swimming pool, etc. The showers and toilets were kept clean. The shop was well stocked.

Не понравилось The signage on the campsite was not clear. It took ages for us to find our pitch. When wanting to book swimming, the sign outside the pool said we needed to book at reception but when enquired at the main desk, the member of staff said that the sign was incorrect and left up from Covid (?) and you just needed to prebook at the swimming pool itself. This was not quite accurate either, as we were told by pool staff that you cannot pre-book a session and was walk-in only.

Понравилось The showers and toilets were always clean. The pitches were a good size and it didn't feel like we were on top of each other.
The staff were amazing, very friendly and they even looked after my dog whilst I went swimming with my kids.

Lovely park on site for the kids to play in.

Не понравилось I couldn't find my pitch as it was not signed very well.

The swimming pool water was cold and you had to pay extra for swimming. When the inflatables were up the cost of swimming doubled in price. I also didn't like that one adult couldn't take more than one child swimming by themselves if they were under 9 because they don't have a lifeguard.

I couldn't get a wifi connection and had to pay but I still couldn't get a connection and couldnt get my money back.

There were also so many wasps and my child got stung a couple of times.
