Gostou: Everything about this place is amazing!! The owner jayne is lovely. Site is spotless. And the veiws around are beautiful. Had the most amazing stay and will definatly be back!!!

Gostou: Everything about this place was incredible - we loved the cosy hut, the log fire, the view from the window, the surrounding area, the sheep 😃, the gorgeous little stream and bridge right next to the hut and the nearby waterfalls! Jayne was absolutely lovely too 😊

Gostou: We stayed at the hut for a weekend and it was perfect. Really enjoyed our stay with easy hikes and nice walks just outside the door. Even though it was a rainy weekend we spend time indoors chilling and playing board games. The toilets are close by and yes you have to bring you own water and camping gear but we enjoyed the simplicity of it all. The fireplace was really nice. Highly recommended for couples and families of 4.

Não gostou: Dogs need to be on the leash all the time as there is cattle everywhere. My dog doesn’t mind so it wasn’t a problem for us but it may be for other dog owners.

Gostou: Everything about this place. This was my 4th visit to The Tup, 6th visit in all (2 camping trips) that tells you everything you need to know about Jane and her land. One of the nicest people you will ever meet and we have built a great relationship. It’s always great to see her and the Tup it’s self is an experience in its self. Such a great little building and even last night I was sitting looking about thinking about its little quirks. Trust me, if you love peace and quiet, you will love this place!

Gostou: Prefect little getaway. The tup hup itself was amazing the kids loved it.
With the log burner making it extra cosy. Set amongst a working farm with sheep walking around made it extra special for my little girl. My son was playing in the river just behind the Tup Hup which we couldn’t get him out of. Only a short drive to Kendal and Windermere. The hostess Jayne was lovely and made our stay very enjoyable and I’m sure we’ll be back again.

Não gostou: Nothing. Not a dislike, but just make sure you bring an extra duvet or blanket in the colder months.

Gostou: Ideal glamping holiday accomodation. Beautiful views. Cows visiting and looking through the windows in the morning. Hosts were very nice, without being intrusive, Wonderful!

Gostou: Beautiful and peaceful place, great oportunity if you are looking for a break from busy reality. Camping with a roof. Very nice and helpful owners with magnificant knowlegde about the past. Definitely will be coming back.

Gostou: Amazing location - breathtaking views everywhere, sheep everywhere, beautiful skies at night and close enough to so many landmarks!
Peaceful - it really felt like we were the only people in the world in this little hut! Kids could play outside without us having to worry about them, gorgeous walks all around just watch out for the poo!
Really cosy - we pushed both sofa beds together and on a night had the fire going with card games etc lovely family time (when the kids weren't fighting) electric metre there is really good we put four pound in and only spent about two after two nights there!
Never done anything like this before, usually pitch a tent & camp that way but so glad we tried this little hut and will definitely be back!

Não gostou: Toilets were a little bit smelly when flushing the chain!

Gostou: Brilliant little bothy in a great location by a little river and we had the place all to ourselves apart from the sheep 😊
The wood burner is excellent, it was all we needed to boil the kettle and kept us very cosy of a night.
Highly recommend a stay here anytime of year.

Gostou: Peaceful secluded place to stay, lovely stream and land to explore for the kids and they loved seeing all the sheep and lambs wandering around. Cosy and welcoming place to stay :)
