Riverside Leisure Park

Gostou Great location to walk in to Wooler Centre. Next to a shallow river and leafy/tree setting. The staff were excellent and nothing too much trouble at all. Lovely Distillery nearby, cafe and town centre pub (Black Bull) serves good pub grub.

Não gostou BEING REALLY NIGGLY!! .... the dog waste bin by the river was overful for 3 days and really needed emptying. In the mens WC/shower block in the WC cubicles there isn't a hook to hang a coat on etc., or by the wash basins to hang a towel.

Gostou nice clean site, friendly staff, close to town centre.

Não gostou toilets and showers were clean, plenty hot water, but need updating.

Gostou Ended up not staying in pod as nowhere to put mattress, too old to sleep on floor. But they were very happy to change us to a pitch, I was happy with this,clean and tidy site, meal at restaurant acceptable

Gostou Cheap accommodation, Showers and loos were clean.

Não gostou Late night noise, general lack of privacy as pod 3 is a bit of a thoroughfare for recycling and part of site. Close to road so noisy. Left a night early as no sleep.

Gostou The location was ideal for visiting other local places of interest .
Check-in was easy and receptionist was really helpful .
Bus stop 10 minutes walk away and from here you can head off in all directions .
Bar and restaurant serving great food .

Não gostou Toilets & showers are a bit dated but this didn’t spoil any part of the stay .

Gostou Easy friendly check in. Good pitch with electric hook up. Lovely green site by the river. Visits from the friendly ducks and ducklings. Short walk into Wooler (albeit up a fairly steep hill) Nearby distillery well worth a visit and if not it’s restaurant certainly is.

Não gostou Bar lacked atmosphere and drinks expensive for not very good wine and beer. Can’t comment on food as they stop serving at 8 so weren’t able to eat there.

Gostou Not alot really!!
The ducks were canny!!

Não gostou Poor signal for TV.
Toilets dated, but are clean!!
Some caravans, motorhomes etc seemed to be quite close together!!
The site is really big, but, the pub and shop are off site!!

Gostou Not a lot.

Não gostou Too busy compared with other sites we stayed at. Children tearing round on bikes with no lights. CHILDREN CHASING AND TEASING THE DUCKS WHO HAD DUCKLINGS WITH THEM. Not a site we would visit again. Might have been due to it being Friday night.
