Appreciate a few creature comforts on your camping holiday? That’s certainly what you can expect at Grange Beck Farm Glamping, a small site surrounded by greenery on the outskirts of Kildwick village in North Yorkshire. Here, accommodation comes in luxuriously kitted-out pods, each with their own smart, modern ensuites with showers and complimentary toiletries, TVs in the living space and all the basics in the kitchen corners to rustle up simple meals. Sleeping arrangements for up to four guests cover one comfy double bed and a sofa bed that converts – bedding and towels are all provided. Moving outside, the pods have views across to the hills of the Yorkshire Dales National Park from their private decking. Barbecues are provided so you can enjoy a good grill-up – pick up supplies in Skipton (15 minutes’ drive) – and wood for the fire is available upon request. Walkers can stride along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal (15 minutes), or strike out across the moors and valleys of the national park (20 minutes). Alternatively, you can simply take a stroll down to the local pub in Kildwick (20 minutes’ walk) for a couple of pints of local beer and family favourites like scampi or burgers with chips.

Gostou We had such a wonderful stay at Grange Beck Farm Glamping – it truly felt like a home away from home with lots of thoughtful little touches (the hot water bottle was my personal favourite!). We’ll definitely be returning. The only small suggestion I’d make would be to add a couple more shelves in the bathroom, and perhaps remove the one directly above the sink as it gets in the way when brushing teeth. Other than that, everything was absolutely perfect.

Gostou Had a lovely relaxing time with my dog at Grange Beck Farm.
The cabin was really clean and had everything we needed for our stay.
Short walk from the Leeds-Liverpool canal was a bonus!
Very likely to stay here again!

Gostou Location was great, really private despite the other cabins, close by to the canal and pub. Cabin was cosy and had all the required amenities.

Não gostou The sofa bed was a little small, definitely couldn’t comfortably fit two adults if needed. The cabin got quite warm so a fan would have been helpful. Some better black out curtains would have also been useful during the summer months.

Gostou Loved the layout of the pod and the facilities. Host added little touches as supplying milk, tea, coffee and biscuits. Loved the outdoor area and balcony. It felt more exclusive and private just for us. Not having to bring our own bbq was a nice touch also.

Não gostou Not the hosts fault due to the heatwave, but it was very hot in the pod at night.

Gostou The pod was so cute with everything we needed and some lovely extras. The location was perfect. It was so quiet with beautiful views. It was just the perfect mini break for me, my daughter and my dog. We will defiantly be returning.

Não gostou Walk to the pub at least 20 minutes with a steep hill involved NOT a 5 minute stroll as described on pitchup.com.
Having to get out of bed to turn the light out, could maybe do with a bedside lamp to make it a little cosier.
