Gostou Easy to get on site, given a choice of pitch to allow us to set up where we felt comfortable. Hooked up to electric quickly.
Shower and toilets always very clean during our stay.
Nice pub on site and food was lovely and reasonably priced.
Basic site but worked well for our short.
Friendly people on site.

Gostou Mens shower was hot
The weather was amazing
Young lad that lives there permanently was lovely kept coming over very polite boy!
All other campers there was lovely very friendly talking everytime they passed.
5 minute driving distance to the shops.
5 minute walk to a bridge were truckers beep at children as going over my children loved that!
On 2nd day once other campers left on the Monday children had more space to play and enjoy the space.
Signal was good but can see a phone mast over the fields.

Não gostou On arrival when checking in the lady hadn't put us down for electric pitches when we choose and paid extra for that.
1 adult with us paid for his own pitch but ended sharing our pitch, so all together we paid for 2 pitches but only had one.
Seamed very disorganised unsure on where to place us on the field, we were placed on a cramped corner for 3 adults, 4 children and 2 dogs.
Placed right next to electric hook ups constantly beeping, dogs getting stuck around.
Hardly any space on first day for the children to move around.
No privacy at all when the field was busy people just walking through our chairs.
One 2nd day children that live there permanently where aimed BB guns at my children flying past them sat on chairs with electric scooters.
Followed my children around when they were collecting sticks telling them to put them back as they are not aloud to collect sticks.
Told by the maintenance man when washing dishes that we need to stop using so much water, and bring a dish over to wash up in.
The noise from the trains were not that bad is was the A1 motor way keeps you up all night sounds like an helicopter hoovering over the tent.
There was a wedding on the 2nd day music was blasting till midnight.
Both nights noone hardly slept due to noise.
Wouldn't stay here again, no good for families no peace or nothing.
Shower and toilets need to be updated there's windows that offer no privacy.
Womans shower doors have gaps either side so people can see striaght in when your showering.
Hardly any space for children to play at all.

Não gostou Booked for electric over sold electric so had no electric
Over head power cables
Right next to a train track from 2am till 12pm every 21 mins
Field uneven
Horse poo behind pitched
Pub closed at 430 on a bank holiday weekend ???
Only one toilet and shower for a over booked site so had to wait over 1 hr to shower
When got to the toilet the seat was broken off no management on site to report to
Lack of loo roll
Unhelpful staff

Gostou Lovely friendly staff. Pub looked very inviting but we didn’t use in the end. Quite basic but that’s fine we were only there one night.
Lots of reviews about train noise but it really wasn’t that bad
I didn’t use the shower or toilet as I used our own so cannot comment on those.

Não gostou The only thing was having to put the electric on a card don’t get that when you could charge extra for electric.

Gostou I stayed here for just one night with my two children and we really enjoyed it. The site is very affordable, very clean, and in a great location with supermarkets only a few minutes away.

The owners were pleasant and welcoming, although I didn’t interact with them much. I was to busy having fun with my children. There are two beautiful ponies in a nearby field – no noise or farm smell at all, just lovely to watch while camping. A few ducks wander around the site too, again no bother, just nice to see.

I felt completely safe with the children, and they had an absolute blast exploring and playing. It was a short stay this time, but I would definitely book again if we come back to the area.

Gostou Toilets and showers were clean and easily accessible.

Owners we're very friendly and helpful.

The pub onsite was lovely and had a great atmosphere with a good choice of food and drinks.

Não gostou Sewage pipe running along the site was very smelly.

Paying for electric on a top-up basis was a little inconvenient but the owners were great and coming down and topping it up.

Gostou Friendly welcome and plenty of space. Quiet after 10pm.

Gostou Friendly staff and decent pub food.

Não gostou The field was littered with cigarette butts and bottle caps, and there was an abandoned airbed, metal railings and traffic cone and an old wheel lying around which made the site look really scruffy. The field was also a slope which wasn’t ideal for pitching tents.

Gostou fantastic location just by the A1M, with a cheerful community pub on site, which opens at the weekends with reasonably priced meals. The pub has a venue at the back which some campers had hired on Saturday night.

Não gostou Whilst this is a perfect site for a stop off it wouldn't be my choice for a longer holiday. The campervan pitches are in a small area in the middle of the field with no privacy between units, with permanent users being around the edge of the field. Facilities whilst more than adequate for a stop-over were limited for longer stays.
