Breydon Water Holiday Park

Gostou The facilities were very clean and worked well. For the price it includes use of the pool and entertainment which was an absolute bargain. The staff were all really helpful and friendly.

Não gostou The pitches were very tired with mud rather than grass. Could do with seeding and rotation.

Não gostou The showers in the toilets was on a push button which didn't last long, the shower head mainly sprayed the wall as they didn't reach out. Can't control the temperature of the showers.

Washing up facilities was clean but took ages for hot water to come through as it wasn't pressured.

Arcades was rubbish as no one was there until 4pm so if you won something in the 2p machines and it got stuck you couldn't get it.
The pitch itself got waterlogged when it rained as they are lower then the ground around them, no natural windbreakers so with the high winds it pulled all pegs out the ground as it was soft ground. Luckily my tent has good strong metal poles and a heavy canvas. Unlucky the person next to us as he's tent and items got destroyed.

The staff in the bar:restaurant were lovely and very helpful and obliging

Não gostou Toilets and showers freezing. The shower button had to be held in constantly to have a shower. When you released the button the water stopped resulting in you getting even colder in an already cold facility.
The bar/cafe closed early and was also cold.

Found the bar and food a bit expensive especially if you’re on a budget

Gostou The toilet/shower/kitchen blocks were spotlessly clean, as was the entertainment/cafe area. Staff that we met were friendly and helpful.
The pitches were quite spacious and not too far away from the main hub.

Não gostou The pitches were more dusty mud, rather than grass, but I suppose that had something to do with the fact that it is getting to the end of the season, but still a negative, especially when it rained!
Although the shower cubicles are quite large, the shower heads are positioned very near to the wall, so that the water tends to run straight down the wall, therefore, more a dribble rather than a shower.
There is nowhere to store your clothing/towels, apart from a single hook within the cubicle, making it difficult to dry yourself and dress, without getting everything wet from the floor. A small seating area within the cubicle would've been nice.
In the kitchen area, the water pressure was not very good.
No indoor pool (this was located within the site approx. 1/4 mile away) and the outdoor pool was closed due to maintenance.

Gostou Pitch size good, easy check in, toilets etc good. Restaurant was good. Swimming pool clean and not overcrowded
