Gostou: Flat ground, easy pegging, peaceful setting, easy walking access to town.
Staff friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Não gostou: No showers. No water to wash with. No paper towels or hand dryers.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with some areas on your visit.
As you can see from other reviews based on our toilet and shower facilities, there are indeed a new block of showers, with toilets in, at the top of the show ground. The older blocks are due to be renovated in the near future, I'm sure you can appreciate that with being a charity, not everything can be funded at the same time.

Gostou: Polite, pleasant staff, welcome pack & quietness of site, being able to pitch up where we wanted. Proximity to Shrewsbury, great little walk into town.

Não gostou: Toilet facilities weren’t for the faint hearted. Not very clean & poorly maintained. No to little in the way of pot washing facilities.

Gostou: The surroundings were beautiful. Excellent hot showers which were clean and tidy.

Não gostou: Grass far too long. Men’s toilets had no running water, taps missing and dirty. No paper towels in the lady’s.

Gostou: a simple , clean quiet, presentable site. good pitches , set up where you want.
15 min walk into town. good local pubs. redpectable helpfull site warden.

Gostou: Liked the site & location

Não gostou: There were several hard standing pitches still,and grass with hook up available available, but pitchup stated when booking, only one grass pitch with electric
Hook up available
I thought this to be very poor of pitchup
As we would have preferred the hardstanding, and you probably cost the showground a lot of revenue
Quite often when looking to book with yourselves it always states low availability But now I don't think that is too be true
What is causing the misinformation????

Do gerente: Thanks for your feedback - We do not over book the pitches as we only have limited facilities, this is not a fault of pitch up, but just how we manage the site with the facilities available to our guests, also often people on arrival change their preference of where they want to be (as we are such a big site) , if you were to return we suggest you ask the steward as to your preference, we are freindly bunch, hope that clarifies.

Gostou: Very spacious pitches and a short walk into the town centre. The site was kept very clean and tidy and there was loads of space for the children to play and kick a ball without disrupting anyone else

Gostou: Spacious, friendly staff, lovely easy walk into Shrewsbury with lots to see. Large pitches, easy to find.

Não gostou: Needs more showers and toilets

Gostou: Loved the wide open spaces with plenty of different pitches to choose from. Few dog friendly pubs within a 10 minute walk and also very easy to walk into Shrewsbury with lots of eateries & pubs.

Não gostou: Unfortunately the toilet blocks need knocking down & replacing, however there are a set of new toilet/showers that can be used. Just missing a couple more of the new ones so there’s less queues
