Campsite 360 Degrees

Gostou The view is really nice, very friendly owner. Unfortunately as it was heavy raining and very windy our motorhome (6m) got stuck in the mud on the field. The owner got us out which was very nice. It was quite a struggle to leave the camping field as it was wet and the grass height obsticles upon to the road. A compost wc to use.

Não gostou Coming from Hay on wye the road is very small for miles, almost nowhere space to pass upcoming cars, no relaxed drive. Not suitable for big sized motorhomes. We are 2m3 wide and a mirror was damaged while driving the road because of the narrow hedges. Also the path to the farm is very bumpy with holes and big stones. The way to Hereford the road is a bit better.

Gostou Lovely views, great location, very friendly owner! Great walks on Offa's Dyke/Hay Bluff straight from the site.

I had no issue with it in my van, but if your vehicle is particularly low, you might have a bit of an issue with the track to the site; but absolutely worth it once you get there.

Gostou Everything. It is a beautiful spot with access direct from the tent to lovely walks, 15 mins drive from Hay on Wye's quirky cute town, & river sports.


We where blessed with good weather which made everything easier. It can be a windy spot so I would bring a good wind break next time. We will definately visit again. Ross was also very warm & welcoming & helpful.

Gostou This site is spectacular. 10/10. Positioned right next to the Gospel Pass escarpment and at the head of a beautiful unspoiled valley looking south. If you like the “big outdoors” this is the place. Simple facilities. About 1 hour’s press on walk to the very attractive village of Haye-On-Wye, of Book Festival fame and lots of great cafes and restaurants. Nearest pub to the site is The Bulls Head, which is quite chichi. Excellent biking, walking and canoeing country. We swam at “The Warren” in the Wye and did a section of the Offa’s Dyke walk. Ross, the campsite owner, is a delight. Go visit.

Gostou A great site in a beautiful setting. Quiet and very basic, exactly as advertised, and absolutely perfect, if that is what you are looking for. The owner takes great pride in his site and your enjoyment and comes to welcome new arrivals. I would highly recommend this site and we will be back!

Gostou If you are looking for somewhere off the beaten track, very quiet with views to die for then this is it! 6 years we have owned a campervan and travelled all over the uk, this is up there at the top of the list. Walks directly off site with a feeling of being in the wilderness. We will definitely be back for longer next time. We had everything we needed on board but did use the clean compost loo and filled up with fresh water.

Gostou Perfect location for getting straight into the mountains, ground conditions for the tent, friendly welcome from Ross and compost loos were decent.
We took the dog who enjoyed his stay, lots of room to walk around the site nd a friendly farm dog on site too!
Ross was really helpful with hiking route tips and shops/pubs.
Site is far out from main roads so its very peaceful, gave the perfect wild camping feel with the most amazing "360" views, stunning sunset location.

Não gostou Not a complaint, just rough farm road coming into the site so best to take your time going slowly. However, not an issue.
