Oakwood Farm Touring Park

Polubione: This was a lovely site, immaculately maintained. There was water on each pitch and the showers and toilets had been newly renovated and spotlessly clean. There was even a cafe selling breakfasts and snacks. There was a bus stop outside the site into Chester, though the service was infrequent, but the park and ride was a 10 minute drive away. There was also a lovely restaurant less than a mile away.

Lovely well kept pitches with nice short grass and well kept toilets and showers

Polubione: The site was well maintained and the toilet and bathroom facilities were spotlessly clean. The owner and staff members were very friendly and helpful and a great breakfast was had at Foxes Tearooms on site.

Polubione: Great little site, very easy to get to and handy for Chester attractions including zoo, city and shopping.

Niepolubione: Take some ear plugs for overnight if you're bothered by road noise

Polubione: The motorhome pitches were of adequate size and had all the services we needed. The showers were very good, along with the toilets and are a credit to the site team - Well Done.
Access was easy, even though we were late but sufficient instruction had been given to us.

Niepolubione: The Grey Water discharge point could do with looking into as it was very tight for our motorhome, and I couldn't see where the water was discharging to.

Polubione: Well looked after. Toilets and showers good. Very clean. Polite and helpful reception. Easy access.

Niepolubione: We booked an extra night on the 14th March. We had already paid the original bill but I was not asked to pay the extra night at the time of booking. I then received an abrupt email asking me to pay immediately as this was due on the 8th March, before we had decided to stay the extra night. I was quite offended by the tone of the email and as Pitch Up had not asked me to pay I assumed I would pay on arrival. The receptionist apologised but said these were automated emails. This is not acceptable under these circumstances.

Polubione: Easy Well Organised friendly welcome..Did not use all the onsite facilities but they looked fine. Will come back.

Niepolubione: I always have an issue with 11 am departures, not just campsites but hotels also. This time of year, early forced depatures are pointless and unwelcoming!
