Whether you're heading to the Huesca area to soak up the scenery or try out all the outdoor activities (or perhaps a bit of both), this is quite the spot. Sitting at 960 metres above sea level and on the banks of the Esera river in the Posets-Maladeta Natural Park, Camping La Borda d’Arnaldet (five minutes' drive from Sesué) makes a particularly attractive base for a holiday in this lovely area.
The views in the immediate vicinity are pretty fabulous, and that mountainous backdrop gives you a hint of what lies in the neighbouring Benasque Valley and beyond. Depending on the time of year, that might be hiking, mountain biking, climbing, horse riding, paragliding, skiing… in fact, pretty much any outdoor activity you’d hope to find in this sort of landscape. As local experts, the team on site are happy to point you towards the best places to go, suggesting places like the Puro Pirineo descents for mountain bikers or the Aneto glacier for photographers.
There are heaps of things to do around here – but there's also the option of chilling out on site, perhaps taking a dip in the pool, playing a gentle game of table tennis or billiards or heading to the multisports area for something a little more active. Kids’ activities run in the summer months to give parents a chance to relax and enjoy a bit of ‘me-time’.
Barbecues are permitted here for those who like a bit of outdoor cookery, and there's also a restaurant and café for easy meals and drinks (open every day from mid-June to mid-September; weekends and holidays only for the rest of the year).

Lokale bezienswaardigheden
Hikers of all ages and abilities should find some suitable trails nearby – there are eight wildlife-rich family-friendly trails in the area just around the site, and all sorts of more challenging trails not too far away. Two of the Pyrenees’ last glaciers are close by – Llardana (10 minutes' drive) and Aneto (25 minutes) – and it's around an hour’s drive to the Ordesa-Monte Perdido and Aigüastortes national parks for even more trails.
Mountain bikers are equally well catered for, with a long list of routes starting from either the site or the Puro Pirineo information centre (10 minutes' drive/25 minutes by bike). A horse riding centre is five minutes' walk away, paragliding is 10 minutes' drive and an activity centre for things like canyoning is 25 minutes' drive. There are also several via ferrate climbing routes nearby, the closest being Via Ferrata del Castellaso (five minutes' walk).
Winter guests? Aramón Cerler (20 minutes' drive) is the place for downhill pistes, with Llanos del Hospital (25 minutes) also nearby for cross-country skiing.
