Ik was blij met: This is my 3rd year coming back to the same caravan, me and my kids love it! The caravan is clean, modern and has everything you need even an air fryer and WiFi which if you have kids you know that’s a must! Beds are comfy and decent size. The site has indoor swimming all year round and outdoor pool in peak times. There is a park, field for football and very friendly dogs and horses. We can’t wait to come back in the summer!!

Ik was blij met: The site staff were polite

Ik was niet zo blij met: I am not picky at all regarding accomodation. It's just a base that I sleep in between exploring! I camp, glamp, caravan and expect very little. However, this is terrible value. The caravan is damp and rundown. The site staff keep it clean but I've never seen a caravan in such a bad state before. It was an hour after the checkin time before the owner got back to me. The site staff had to direct me to the caravan. No WiFi, no entertainment, no restaurant, no outdoor pool, indoor pool open intermittently. The bar is only open Friday and Saturday night. The site is very small and no disrespect meant but due to this it is very cliquey so it feels like you're intruding. The owners dogs have free reign but others have to be on leads so my girl got mardy as she couldn't play with them. Please please please avoid and go somewhere else. I have 3 children, 2 dogs, 5 step children and work and am spending my time writing this in the hope that others avoid and have a great time exploring this beautiful place but stopping somewhere else. Please stay somewhere else!

Ik was blij met: Peaceful site

Ik was niet zo blij met: Not so much disliked, park was limited, three dogs running around but were friendly. Not much entertainment for children. It’s ok for a little break, we were out of season so I guess it is what it is, no food on site too. Swimming pool was freezing. Caravan was ok, some issues with the inside but that was explained.

Ik was niet zo blij met: We didn't feel the accommodation was anything like advertised. No onsite facilities available. The caravan was quite dirty especially the kitchen items, we had to wash it all up before we could use. No one directed us to caravan and owner didn't answer phone as was arranged. He called back an hour and twenty mins later which is very annoying after a long journey in the middle of winter

Ik was blij met: The fact that the van was dog friendly was a major influence on us picking this site. The van was well set out and comfortable. The weather was great which helped with the general atmosphere around site. Easy to reach all of the island and parts of the North Wakes coast.Out of season, the bar was only open on Friday and Saturday evenings but was very welcoming.

Ik was niet zo blij met: A little bit untidy around the van which may put some people off. It coud have done with the weed growth being cut back, although the site had their own groundsman he didn't cater for the area around this van.

Ik was blij met: Caravan was spacious and clean. Good big TV and communal area with huge sofa. Light and airy. Great to have two bathrooms! Nice outer decking area with table & chairs.
Swimming pool was a big hit with my son!

Ik was niet zo blij met: Beds in small /twin room were too small and one frame needs replacing.
Cooker knob came off in my hand/broke, so needs replacing.
Some radiators rusty.

Ik was blij met: The caravan was lovely and clean and we appreciated the extra thoughtful bits like hand towels, hand wash, tea towels etc!
The boys loved the pool which they had to themselves most of the time!
Nice little play area for younger kids and space to play football.

Ik was niet zo blij met: Only down side was not being able to walk anywhere from the site; always needed to drive. But, there are lots of places to visit close by.

Ik was blij met: The caravan was spacious enough for the 5 of us for a 2 night stay. But not for longer.
The washing up liquid, pan scrub, dish cloth and tea towel a nice touch.

Ik was niet zo blij met: The radiator in the bathroom was rusty
Television in twin room didn't work
No light bulb or light cover on , in the en suite toilet room
Cracked and bashed unit under the television in lounge
No lightbulb in reading light in main bedroom
The whole caravan park is dated, shabby and doesn't look like its looked after.

Ik was blij met: Very quiet and peaceful place.

Ik was niet zo blij met: Far from the beach, a car is always needed .

Ik was blij met: Caravan was spotless, modern had everything we needed.

Morgana

Ik was niet zo blij met: On arrival the site looks very scruffy and run down. There is no on site entertainment and the bar/restaurant is only open a few hrs on the sat we were there.

The site is quite the outdoor pool was very clean and not busy but apart from that not much to do.

It's about a 40 min drive to Trearddur Bay which is lovely beach and a nice restaurant.
