Situated in rural West Dorset, between Lyme Regis and Bridport, Prime Farm opens its gates for the first time in 2025.
With spacious wildflower meadow pitches overlooking the stunning Marshwood Vale, Prime Farm gives guests the space and tranquillity to relax and enjoy this beautiful part of the world.
Camping: Three tent-only grass camping pitches (non-electric). Two are located in a beautiful six-acre wildflower meadow, and the third in a more sheltered field closer to the facilities. Each pitch is generously spaced, offering ample room and privacy for guests to unwind. Every pitch includes a picnic table and fire pit.
Glamping: The fabulous 17-foot Mongolian yurt sits in a secluded one-acre meadow and comes with its own composting toilet, picnic table, and fire pit. Furnished with a king-sized bed and two optional children’s beds (bedding provided), the yurt offers exclusive access to the field, perfect for a peaceful and private stay.
Facilities: The entire camping and glamping site is off-grid. Facilities include composting toilets, a gas-heated shower, and a washing-up area. There is no electricity on site. The nights can be wonderfully dark and star-filled, so don’t forget to bring a torch.
Enjoy sunsets and sunrises, the sound of songbirds, and the chance to spot hares, deer, and other wildlife. You're surrounded by nature here.
Worth Noting: To maintain peace and safety for all guests we do not allow cars on site. Pitches are approximately 150m from the parking area, with wheelbarrows to help you transport your things. We only allow one car per booking. no dogs and no group bookings

- Het reserveren voor vrijgezellenfeesten is niet toegestaan via Pitchup.com.
- Er mogen geen reserveringen worden gemaakt voor meer dan 7 aaneengesloten nachten.
- Auto's/motoren zijn niet toegestaan op de staplaats/bij de accommodatie. Deze moeten worden geparkeerd op de daarvoor bestemde plekken.
- Commerciële voertuigen (voertuigen die gebruikt worden voor werk en/of het vervoeren van goederen of betalende passagiers) en voertuigen met reclameboodschappen zijn verboden op het terrein.
- Dit is een rustige plek: muziek is strikt verboden.
- Het wordt gasten geadviseerd om een zaklantaarn van goede kwaliteit mee te nemen, omdat delen van het terrein onverlicht zijn.
- Er is geen open vuur toegestaan in de gehuurde accommodaties.
- Houd er rekening mee dat de toiletten/douches uniseks zijn.
- Geen gasbarbecues toegestaan.
- Zwemmen in het meer is niet toegestaan.
- Er is geen receptie ter plaatse: neem bij aankomst contact op met het nummer dat in de reserveringsbevestiging vermeld staat.
- Bij droog, winderig en/of heet weer zijn vuren, barbecues en vuurkorven niet toegestaan.

Prime Farm is the ideal base to explore the stunning West Dorset and East Devon coast.
5 miles from the Jurassic coast (World Heritage Site) - the closest beaches are 10 minutes drive away at Charmouth and Seatown.
The coastal town of Lyme Regis with its sandy and accessible beaches, perfect for bathing and fossil hunting, is within 20 minutes.
Head east to stunning beaches at West Bay and Burton Bradstock both within 30 minutes. Or west to the gorgeous East Devon coast where you’ll find the beaches of Seaton, Beer, Sidmouth and more.
COUNTRYSIDE
Situated within Dorset area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the area boasts endless opportunity for walking and exploring this beautiful part of Dorset.

The Golden Cap - the highest coastal point on the South Coast is a 12 minute drive away. From the National Trust car park you have glorious walks through woods to the coastal path with stunning coastal views.
Stonebarrow with its coastal views, beautiful countryside and space is perfect for picnicking and pottering.
Colmers Hill with its panoramic views of the coast and countryside. Colmers hill is easily walkable from Symondsbury Estate (which also boasts a cafe, restaurant and shops)
The Holloways at Shute’s Lane and Hell Lane, also accessible from Symondsbury Estate. Fabulous ancient sunken paths endorsed with mysterious and enchanting engravings.

OTHER ENTERTAINMENT
The market town of Bridport, with restaurants, cafes, shops, art centre and cinema is 20 minutes away. Bridport hosts a market on Wednesday and Saturdays.
The coastal town of Lyme Regis also has an array of restaurants, pubs, shops and is home to the Marine Theatre.
Charmouth Heritage Coast Centre (12 minutes away) has an amazing fossil collection and information displays as well as organised Fossil Hunting Walks.
Exeter is 1 hour away with a huge range of shops, entertainment and attractions

There are many country pubs in the area including two within 8 minutes drive or 45 minute walk (The 5 Bells Inn and The Shave Cross Inn).
Bridport, West Bay and Lyme Regis offer a wide range of eateries and restaurants.
FOOD SHOPPING
Felicity's Farm Shop is 9 minutes away and offers a wide range of produce, gifts, treats and groceries.
There is also a convenience shop in Charmouth (Nisa) where you can get basic supplies.
Larger supermarkets are found in Bridport (Morrisons, Waitrose and Lidl) and Axminster (Tesco). Lyme Regis also has a Tesco express, cooperative and bakeries.
There are 3 butchers in Bridport and a fishmonger in Lyme.
