Ik was blij met Excellent for star gazing, nice location if you just want peace and quiet.

Ik was niet blij met Toilets and shower very basic indeed, site slopes so even with a few or frost difficult to get out, as it stands I would not say value for money compared to other sites I’ve stayed on.

Ik was blij met We had the most amazing camping trip staying at The Arch! The site was absolutely beautiful—very clean and well-maintained, making it a truly comfortable and enjoyable experience. Inside the camper, it was warm and cozy, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We rented a fire pit, which was superb—ideal for gathering around, sharing stories, and enjoying the evenings.

The campsite itself was just the right size—not too big, which made it feel intimate and peaceful. The owners were incredibly warm and friendly; they went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and their hospitality truly made our stay special.

Overall, it was an unforgettable trip, and I can't recommend The Arch enough for anyone looking for a fantastic, restful camping experience!

Ik was blij met The views are in interrupted when the camping field is empty. The cabin is ok ☺️ for the price. The location is good for walkers to explore ticehurt 2 1/4 miles away.. had complimentary chairs and table all cooking facilities

Ik was niet blij met Works being carried out early, glad we were some distance away, the other pod was so close. The lights inside barely worked and pod was cold compared to others we had stayed in. The toilet/shower was very basic and felt it could of been cleaner.

Ik was blij met Lovely little campsite, basic but with beautiful views and warm showers. Didn't get to see the owners but check-in details displayed and easy to understand. Perfect for a quite weekend away. Good price too x

Ik was niet blij met We were on quite a bad slope, not too bad for us, we could level up as in a caravan, but my friend in his tent, kept sliding down.

The bins in the toilets hadn't been emptied at all whilst we were there.
Nothing in the bathrooms for us to clean up. It was quite muddy in there, would have bern useful to have a mop to use, especially when you've just got out of the shower.

We welcome all feedback but do feel we need to add a little context to your review but also provide some details of up and coming changes to the site.

Firstly I your stay was for one night.

We can confirm that some of the pitches are sloping, however, as your stay was during a period of time where we weren't fully booked, we did provide the option of two pitches for your friend and they chose the pitch with the greater slope.

We will be extending the site soon which will provide flatter pitches. Some of the sloping pitches will then have decking areas for some of our bell tents.

Unfortunately there was a bit of rain during your stay which does cause some issues with the floor for the toilet/showers but there is a mop in one of them (appreciate this does not help with the second unit if the first is in use). We also provide shower boards which can be placed infant of the shower to step on to.

Moving forward we will be building a new toilet/shower block which will provide individual showers and toilets, this should hopefully help with the situation.

The new block will also have a washing up area and a disabled toilet/shower.

We will also be having a few more glamping pods with en-suite facilities.

Ik was blij met Good site, great value, only 11 pitches so very quiet, basic facilities but very clean and tidy,

Ik was blij met Well appointed campsite with nice outlook. Everything kept clean and well maintained.

Ik was niet blij met Would benefit from a communal fridge (or freezer for storing ice-packs) as tent users have no way to keep food /drinks cool. Particularly useful when the weather is warm.

Ik was blij met It was our first camping trip as a family and it was absolutely amazing from easy signing in all the way to when we left. The owners are friendly and will help you if needed. Its a nice small campsite which we found great with a little one running around. We loved how close the horses were and so did out little one.
