Set in a private field in the South Downs National Park, Skoolie Stays offers a very individual glamping experience with sea views, looking over Sussex Fields to Beachy Head. A bus with heart and soul, Skoolie Stays is the happy result of the owner’s travels in another similar bus around the USA. The know-how to transform this iconic yellow American school bus into Skoolie, and the love that has gone into its every feature and detail, all stems from that adventure. Clever touches throughout Skoolie are the result of a thoughtful and skilful renovation. Wood and metal tones throughout create warmth, clever use of space means you have everything you could want on board, and with plenty of headroom and legroom – this bus feels big. A king-size bed for couples, plus two adult-sized bunks means up to four people can sleep comfortably on Skoolie. A well-kitted out kitchen and dining table means cooking and eating on board are sheer pleasure, and there’s a properly comfy sofa facing a real woodburner, meaning Skoolie is warm and cosy all year round. Outside there’s a whole private field to run round or child on the hammocks. A firepit and grill means you can dine alfresco whenever the weather plays ball.
