Off to the Yorkshire Dales to delve down into caves or to venture up into the Yorkshire Three Peaks? Whether it’s caverns, waterfall trails or the mountains that have drawn you to this area, Falls Park makes a quiet and spacious dog-friendly base in a handy spot a mile from Ingleton and 10 minutes’ drive away from White Scar Cave and 20 minutes from Kirkby Lonsdale (a historic market town with the medieval Devil’s Bridge). From here you’ll be off to see waterfalls in no time, as the site has access to the nearly five-mile Ingleton Waterfalls Trail, a long-established and popular trail that's all about the sublime scenery. Please note that access to the Waterfalls Trail is an additional cost for customers. On top of that, the site itself has views of a limestone valley and Ingleborough, one of the Yorkshire Three Peaks and a prime spot for a challenging hike between the summits. Peaceful’s the vibe here, as that’s how the site has been planned and designed, so you’ll be all ready to unwind with the scenic Yorkshire Dales landscape surrounding you. Facilities include a chemical toilet disposal point, drinking water points, washing-up room, wifi and an amenities block with a male, female and disabled toilet and shower. With Ingleton village within walking distance (an hour and 10 minutes’ walk away or 10 minutes’ drive), powering up before your next outing is easily done, thanks to its food shops, restaurants, tearooms and pubs. Please note there is a steep single-track road to access the site, which is very narrow. Whilst there are occasional passing places on the lane, this site is only suitable for campervans and motorhomes.

Ik was blij met Great weekend stay at Falls park, great location perfect for the Ingleton falls trail whichbis accessible from the site. Nice clean modern facilities and shop on site. Pitches are a good size with electric and water close by.

Ik was niet blij met Not a lot to dislike , one small thing is the lack of showerhead and unable to control the temperature so had a very hot shower overall a very small inconvenience.

Ik was blij met Well what a beautiful site.
Staff were wonderful and the facilities were of excellent standards, very clean and ample.
The views were wonderful, very peaceful.
Close to the Ingleton Waterfall walk.

Ik was niet blij met The access road to the site for motorhome/caravan is very narrow and steep, single road with passing areas which are few.
Where we were sited the facilities were a little walk away, but not unpleasant.

Ik was blij met I liked the camp site being on the waterfall trail.the beautiful 360 deg views .the campsite was spotless . And of course the friendly couple who welcomed us they work really hard for enjoyable stay .would recommend

Ik was niet blij met This is not a dislike but a tip .the road to camp site narrow and tricky going through Ingleton town . So I would set sat nav for the white scar caves along that road keep going then you get to a turning on your left it's sign posted falls park .it's flatter and you can see what's coming .we would use that way in the future for coming and going B6255

Ik was blij met Fantastic site with exceptional facilities. Staff were lovely and helpful when needed. Location was stunning. The ride up was a little tricky due to the single road and being in a large motor home.

Ik was blij met Fantastic facilities, lovely and clean shower block and toilets. The grass pitch was perfect size for our tent. We liked the raised stone flag on the pitch for eating round and cooking on. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. Would recommend the Ingleton waterfall trail. You can access it straight from the campsite. It starts you halfway round. Lots of nice pools for wild swimming in

Ik was blij met Really liked the welcome - really friendly host, making everything really clear. Spotless shower block and toilets. The pitch we had was lovely - in the corner with fabulous views and nice and flat and well maintained. Water points really close. Really quiet. The location was amazing - a short walk to White Scar Caves, and could do Ingleborough in a lovely circular walk. It is right on the Ingleton Falls Trail, a 4.5 mile circular walk taking in a lot of water falls - some of which were just behind the park. There was a small hatch serving ice creams, coffee etc - didn't look too closely at what they sold. The wifi and O2 signal were great.

So where should you set your compass to first? There are impressive scenes all around, from guided tours around the longest show cave in Britain, White Scar Cave (10 minutes’ drive) to the mighty 104-foot-high Ribblehead Viaduct (15 minutes) with its 24 arches towering over the moorlands. The threads of nature run strong here too and that’s evident from Gisburn Forest (40 minutes), where walking, cycling and mountain biking trails are just some of the ways to snake through the treetops and spy on skulking wildlife. There’s a nature trail over at Ingleborough Cave (20 minutes) too – but of course cave walks are where the action’s really at. Up towards the sky instead, the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge (half an hour) might already be the quest you have in mind, but if not, perhaps you’ll want to give the 24-mile route over Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-ghent a go while you’re here. For an easier day out, take a hike around Malham Cove (40 minutes) or stroll around Skipton (45 minutes), a market town with lots of places to eat, as well as a traditional town hall, castle, museum and gallery.
